  • You guys are so stupid. A "soccer" player needs to be just as cut as an "american football" player. It's not all about how good you are with the ball. Fitness in all aspects is very important.

  • this is a good video. soccer players don't just work out there lower body, they have to be able to hold someone off as the run with there upper body. circuts, low wieght high reps are the kind of things you neeed to be doing with the upper body tho, so you don't build to much muscle mass and slow yourself down.

  • Questions to all of you here Training Calves does it make u faster with running and ball control ( dribbling ) or does it slow ur movement down ( logically i guess) please answer it and also same question but to Hamstring/Quadriceps :)

  • @jadindahouse Train ALL of your leg muscles. However, don't focus on just things like calf raises or even weighted only but add variety, agility ladders(even if u don't have them or don't want to buy then make some from whaetever you desire), different kind of jumps, sprints and calves will develop. And of course, if u will gain more mass u might end up being slower but eventually it pays off as more muscles can produce more explosive power(as i have read).
