  • Hey! Where can I find you on facebook? :O)

  • HOLY CRAP MISS MARCELLE! I DON'T THINK YOU COULD BE ANY CUTER! When I was trying to crochet the hat that you have up on youtube, I said to myself, "I wonder if this sweet voice has a picture to go with it!" Than when you responded back to me, I clicked and BAM! There you were! And I subscribed to your little website and I so cannot wait to try crocheting that hat. You have such a great personality and a funny sence of humor! I am excited to start crocheting with you! Thank you!

  • @megakelsable aww thank you so much for the kind words, I hope you enjoy my vids and let me kno if I could help you in any way :)

  • I don't understand the end of the video though...what do you mean by turn your work around?

  • this is very easy to follow...I got a small kit to do a beanie with but the instructions were absolutely terrible. thanks for repeating things after you show them the first time(:

  • what is a slipknot??and this isnt easy for me this is really really hard to do

  • what is a slipknot??and this isnt asy for me this is really really hard to do

  • @goofylego5214 Slipknot is just a knot that you can like ajust, it's not thight or something. You make a loop, and then go with the little tail on the loop, and pull it throught with the crochet. I hope that helped.

  • what is a slipknot??

  • I don't want to be repeating questions, but is this hat a "One fits all" kind of hat because my aunt says she has a big head......

  • **easy for me to learn this, thanks to you!!

    ((continuation of previous comment))

  • Well I like this video, it was definitely helpful, but I'm kinda confused on how it makes a hat, unless of course I was supposed to get the book, which I haven't. It went slow enough I could figure it out, and it's easy to pause and rewind as necessary. I'm left-handed so it took me a while longer, cuz I'm learning crochet, and I'm having to learn right handed and convert what I see to what I'm doing, lol. However, despite being confused on how this makes a hat, it has been very easy for me to

  • Hey, can these beanies be worn by guys too? not to be sexist or n e thing but its majority women that do these kinds of things....but ima guy who wants learn and make something for my girl....lol :")

  • @chazduhman hi Of course it can be worn by guys :) That is sweet of you wanting to make something for your girl. :)

  • ? is it suppose to curve?

  • So do u just keep going.

  • @Tamicka277 Hi, yes you keep going till row 62, Have fun making the beanie.

  • @GreenGirlll Thank you so much! i;m glad that my video helped.

  • this helped me alot thanx!!!

  • can you make a video on how to make a three stripe color hat? like rasta colors lik

    RED

    YELLOW

    GREEN

thanks for this video now i can make at least one thing i wear every day

  • @guitarist0at0large Hi ok I will. stay tuned! Thanks for watching!

  • @DemDemOrgy I apologize if I was going too fast for you. Just keep trying don't give up.

  • i hate this tutorial because i see you knitting and you go to fast so i look at the words and the dont help any so i get mad and try to watch it again to figure out what i am doing wrong but i am do what you say but i guess i am just retarded :/

  • oh my LORD!

    ok thats really helpfuull thanks~!

but i have a requist for you.

if you could posibly make a video

with like the same hat but like an animal hat

    is that ok? :]

  • @Deelopandalover Hi im srry what do you mean animal hat?

  • @onevirtuouswoman i would assume like either with ears on it or like animal print

  • Does the size of the yarn matter? or can you just use any size?

  • @sakura575 hi Yes it does matter, I used Red Heart yarn for this beanie which is a 4 medium , so if you use thinner yarn it will be a lil smaller and if you use bulkier yarn it will be bigger.I hope that helped Thanks for watching!

  • @onevirtuouswoman Thanks that helped

  • I have been trying to crochet for a while. This tutorial was great. It helped me so much . Thank you

  • @TishawnM You are so welcome! That's the whole point of my videos is to help those who need help!I'm glad I could assist you !

  • This is an AMAZING tutorial!!! I have tried soooo many others and completely FAILED with them and this one, I actually got what I was going!!! Thank you so VERY MUCH!!! You're AWESOME!!

  • @TheGreenes08 Your so welcome, im' glad my video helped! :}

  • @TheGreenes08 Thank you so much! I'm glad I could help! :0)

  • I really appreciate how you break the steps done. That means alot. Thanks.

  • Thank you SO MUCH!! I have that exact book that you got the pattern from and I was trying to teach myself and it was NOTHING like you were doing LOL! I am so glad I found you and I can't wait to watch more videos and learn more! Thanks Again. You're a great teacher and you make everything very clear.

  • <3 Thank you so much for your help! This is my first time trying to crochet and I'm so thankful for your time in making this video ^_^ I feel like a mini pro now! I'm off to continue my beanie, so time to go to your second video. =D You taught me step by step and I LOVED that, thank you so much again, I'm all smiles =D

  • @THEvictorianBARBIE Your welcome! Do a response video when your done Id love to see how it came out. Thank you for watching!

  • @Rainbowveins1115 You are so welcome! I'm glad my video helped!

  • This video was very useful but I was wondering, when you single crochet, do you go into two loops or one loop. Thanks!

  • @dskhdjk Hi! thats called the front and back loops and yes you go underneath both front and back loops. I hope this was helpful! Happy crocheting and thank you for watching my videos.

  • @ casperkittyful this is Row 1 you sc in 2nd ch from the hook, then you ch1, then you skip the nex ch, then sc in the next ch,(the ch1 is to replace the ch that you are skipping)so you do that to the end. Now when you get to the end there will be no ch to skip so you will not have to ch1,you just do a sc in the last ch. I hope this helps, I apologize for the video I was usin my iPhone camera.

  • I get confused staring on 2:39 for the single stitch im a beginner and trying to make a hat try to show it more i cant tell. srry

  • Yes Fanci, you can to make it smaller or bigger. Thanks for watching!

  • can i put more chains or less? thanx!!! (^_^)

  • Hi, it would be good if you could tell us what sized yarn and what sized hook to use cos if I am right, we might get a different result using different wool and hook right? Thanks for the video though, really useful!!

  • Hi yes the hook size and yarn does make a difference, in the video i said i used a J hook and i used medium worsted acrylic yarn.

  • wow...you're really amazing! Is it necessary that you have a thick or thin yarn??? I'm inspired to crochet because of your videos

  • Hi maewae, i use the normal 4ply yarn medium weight. thicker or thinner yarn will play a difference in the size of the beanie.Thank for watching!

  • I really like your tutorial videos. Your camera is clear and close enough to see and the text addition of the instructions is very helpful.

Should the first single-crochet row be long enough to go around your head?

  • @ArtemisXenocide HI THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! no actually the 1st row till the 61 row will be vertical once you get to the 61 row you will see what im talking about. it will fit the average size head. hey let me kno how it turned out. God Bless!

  • Thank you Mrs6ft2 I'm glad my videos helped. Thanks for watching! God Bless!

  • I've been trying to learn to crochet for MONTHS and within 30 minutes of watching your videos I was making my first hat. Thanks so much! Be Blessed!

  • Hi Kayla I went thru the front and back loop so the 2 loops. So when u chain 1 after each sc u skip a stitch and go in the nextstitch. The ch1 is to compensate for the skip stitch. I hop that helps.

  • so when you skip chain and go to 2nd one, are you going through the top of chain where there is 2 loops or just through top piece? i can't tell and i am doing it both ways. not looking good.

  • Thanks for the tutorial xx

  • Thank you so much for this demonstration its really been very helpful you are such a good teacher :)

  • yuo are a genius u rock i am going to subsciri

  • this was sooooo awesome your soooo helpfull!!!!!! and soo easy!!!!!

  • Thank you for your very clear instructions!

You are a very good teacher! You take things nice + slowly for beginners!

"Chain one as a replacement of skipping a chain." - I like that you include little details of information like that!

Thank you so much again! ((♥))

  • Thank you so much. You really know how to teach.

  • I'm glad the videos helped! Thanks for watching!

  • OMG soooo....HELPFUL!!!

  • iluv this...its really clear n i get it...i tried 2 learn wen i was younger....it didnt work 4 me
