This is one of the greatest masterpieces of all symphonic metal in history. The whole thing was composed by Yoshiki, even the orchestra parts. They needed no additional composer, everything was there. And watch that bass! It's symphonically awesome and coherent with the orchestra!

@alejandronova Hideto "hide" Matsumoto or also known as Hide-sama is the Composer of Rose of pain not Yoshiki. Allthough Yoshiki organized the Orchestra, Hide is the Composer of this song. Just thought you'd like to know.

Hide has also composed other songs featured in X-Japan Albums such as Scars, Tears and Art of life. and many many more, some are yet not released =)

@CaptainnKarizmaa Yoshiki wrote Rose of Pain, Art of Life and Tears, not hide. Yoshiki's songs have a sophisticated melancholy and are full of roses, death, suicidal musings, narcissism and violence. hide's X Japan songs, like Celebration and Joker, were rambunctious, silly, angry, and not particularly reflective. It's amazing that you would confuse the two.
