Hey look buddy, im an engineer; that means i solve problems. But not your large problems such as "do reapers exist", I solve practical problems; like, how am i gonna stop some mean geth prime from tearing me a structurally superflous new behind? The answer? Use a drone, or when that doesnt work... Use A.I. hacking, another combat drone, incinerate, and cryo blast. Take for instance this little omni-tool here; designed by me, built by me, and you best hope, not pointed at you.

Btw I never played Soldier when I first started the game ... I didn't even expected but playing as Soldier is the SHIT! you are everything with soldier and your squad members can be costumised with the specialities you need for a mission and stuff but still Engineer and Soldier are the best for me ;]

Engineers are strictly short range guys, CQB stuff, they don't even have decent medium range capability. Having now played all the classes, I can say that if you want to be a one man army your best bets are Infiltrator, Soldier, and Sentinel. Engineer, Vanguard, and Adept are primarily support classes. There's some movement at lower difficulty but not much.

@xKCBEx you're 100% right, though the sentinel class sometimes needs more back up the the other two. the soldier class is the best for a one man army because the adrenaline rush gives that huge power boost and slowing down time is top shit

Never liked the engineer; Tali and Legion have AI hacking and combat drone just use them! As far as the unique class powers go, use the Vanguard (charge), Soldier(Adrenaline rush) or the Sentinel (tech armor)

this class was alright. it only got good when you were at a high level. the suicide mission i felt kind of weak without hacking and i dies alot so its one of my least favorites.

Exploding drone is VERY helpful, Especially with fast regen.

The attack drone is best for difficulties that aren't on insane. On insane the drone can get killed with a few shots or a Krogan melee attack. So if you got the upgrades for fast regen for your drone, then having it as an explosive will be a very good idea.

i agree, engineers just dont have enough firepower for me, trying to play through the game with an engineer is a real challange tho. i already beat the game once with a vanguard. idk tho, it takes a few tries to complete any mission with the engineer on normal.

yea Adept and Vanguard is probably the most fun and the easiest. Soldier was pretty easy too for me. i only tried Engineer for a few missions and it was hard, boring, and time consuming. it just sucked.

I compleated the game with engineer and there is a place when the first time the illusive man sends you to the collector ship when there was a trap ... when you discover that the collectors are actually protheins (or something) there are some weapons and you can chose to have 1 more weapons spec (sorry for the bad english)

You can't edit the game files on the 360 version, at least not without insane amounts of work.

@MrDominatord7 I don't think you understood, on the collector ship, you get a Super Weapon or a Weapon Mastery. For example, an Infiltrator could choose between a powerful sniper rifle or being able to use either Assault Rifles or Shotguns. So as an adept you would choose to be able use either Sniper Rifles, Assault Rifles or Shotguns.

They're very good at taking down defenses and coupled with the bonus power Neural Shock, you are deadly against both Synthetics and Organics.
