  • that's a beautiful thing.

  • Fuck Yeah!!! Take it to the lake!!

  • WOO!!

  • someone (DVeck89) doesnt know how to run a boat outside of the water... bless

  • How much water is in that thing? Seems like it's blowing out a lot.

  • It backs up, cuz the boat is sitting slightly forward, so when the pipes fill up with water, then it blows it all out. if it was level and leaning back, then a steady stream should come out of each pipe.

  • The flaps are there for a reason, it's to keep water from backflowing into pipes when you come to a stop, and also for backing up, keeps the back pressure at the engineered amount

  • take those dame flappers off that exuast let that ski natique sing out loud >:E

  • we were not putting it in gear, we were moving the control lever into the "in gear" position with the neutral button out, only moving the throttle cable.

  • Don't put it in gear when out of water!!!! You burn your strut bearings! Nice sound!!!

  • 1. its not in gear at all ever once in this whole video, 2. there is no strut bearing, its a bushing, and 3. YEAH, the sound rocks!!

  • I have the same boat, only my 74 is the red, white and blue - same boat seen on the front of the 74 brochure. It has a 318 Chrysler. I have owned so many boats - latest 2006 Mastercraft to a 42 Chris Craft - My 74 Nautique will remain my fav - Best Sound on the LAKE!!!!!

  • YES, this SN is the best sounding boat i have ever heard!!! I dont know how the 318 sounds but im sure its good. I see you play drums too! i do as well

  • i have a 96 ski nautique and i love it!!! plenly of power and speed fun to ski behind too!

  • Nice sound

  • its got a 350ci. rated at about 255 HP

  • im not sure what my current motor is since.. i was always a outboard guy :(

i think its a 450 Vortex or something like that

i have the same exhaust set-up as you and sounds almost alike

  • Our exhaust is true dual, straight pipes, NO muffling what so ever.

  • love your boat man...sounds soooo sweet

  • It sounds even better now b/c we changed all the exhaust hoses which some of them were kinked, muffling it a little bit. Do you know much about ski nautiques?

  • nice bro, i love louder boats. Yeah I know a pretty good amount about Ski Nautiques. We've never had one or spent much time around them but i just really love correct crafts (especially classics like yours) and i love to slalom.

  • me too....NOthing better than a V8 with straight pipes!

  • definetly. the 351 windsor is such a good motor too. industructiable, one of the strongest small blocks out there. Too bad chevrolet took over the boat market in engines.

  • Windsor is just the co. that marinizes the ford engine. They have nothing to do with how its built. Thats ford.

  • yeah, but the 351 was built in two states in the 1970's in cars...windsor and cleveland. windsor is a small block and cleveland was a big block. windsor is not only boat engines, all 351's from around 1977 and up were all windsors. the 351 is simply a bored out 302.

  • yup...How you know all that?? hahaha.... not many people do. How old r u.

  • i love cars and boats. i know lots. i am 16 years old.

  • me too...i am 15...

  • nice. glad to see another person my age who appriciates this stuff.

  • just cuz i happend to read this and maybe you didnt know but the 302 and 351 both share the same bore of 4 in but what is dif about the two is the stroke the 302 has a 3 in stroke and the 351w has a 3.5 in stroke they also have a slightly differnet deck heigth but 351w and 351c heads will both fit a 302
