  • [****] I will translate the rest recently.

Kung fu is used to protect the virtues. This is the deepest meaning of the Chinese Kung Fu! I hope all the audience can go beyond the outside win-loss appearance and find the inner peace.

  • Thank you very much!

  • Actually, Master Wan(萬) learned the Shaolin form as his fundamental kung fu. After he reached a certain level, he began to learn the Natural School( the Natural Boxing) from Tu(杜,杜心五).

However, there are a lot of key points in each kung fu division. It is better for you to find a master who can teach you those key points.

  • Was this comment directed towards me?

I already have a great master, but it´s true what you say.Thank you

  • I wish someone could translate this.

  • [0:00] You should act naturally.

[0:06] When you practice the fundamental kung fu, you should act from lightly toward heavily and from slowly toward quickly(fast).

[0:13] Don't act quickly at first. It will tighten your hands(fists).

[0:17] You should make the energy(勁,Jing) from inside(your body) to outside. So, the Southern Quan method uses the muscle(力) to press the Qi(氣,Chi). This method is said to be muscle-Qi(力氣).

  • [0:33] The Northen Quan method conducts the Qi toward the lower part of the body, so the Northern form is more movable than the Southern form. The Northern form uses Qi to press muscle(or enery/jing). This method is said to be Qi-muscle(氣力).

  • [0:46] Only our Natural School(自然門) form uses consciousness(意/意念,thought) to control Qi. When our consciousness reaches that point, our Qi reaches that point at the same time. Our Natural method is said to be Shen-Qi(神氣).

[****] Shen(神) is a little different to consciousness. Shen is belong to sub-consciousness.

  • [0:54] (Hard to recognize.)

[0:58] After the next 3 years, I will be a 90-year-old man. Most martial artist could act at their age of 60 or 70. To me, I still can act my kung fu.

[1:06] I can make(not conduct) my Qi go toward the lower part of my body. You can see the spirit in my eyes. Just like 2 golden rays go through my eyes.

[1:16] (He mentions a kind of hand combat technique,穿手?)

[1:18] My techniques do not need to conduct. (He uses consciousness.)

  • [1:21] ( He demostrates his kung fu. He also shows his hit is like lead/iron.

[1:47] The most important part is here.(His right hand points to his Dantien/Dantian,丹田.)

    [1:53] You shouldd act naturally.

[1:55] You should act from lightly toward heavily and from slowly toward quickly(fast).

[1:59] Your punches should be a sustained punches. Your left-up kicks should like this.

[2:02] (He mentions about the elbow and the knee. Hard to recognize his meaning of this part.)

  • [2:13] You can suppose there is a person standing in front of you. You have to pay attention to the part between his two eyebrows.

[2:22] Actually, there is no one there. But you can suppose that fact.(for pratice!)

[****] (Then he demonstrates his kung fu.) Fin.

  • @KungFuEremite

So is this different than shendi?

  • @1NX9 Excuse me, I could not get it... shendi?

  • @KungFuEremite

Sorry I should have made myself more clear.

You know anything about spirit boxing?

  • @1NX9 It sounds interesting, I just google it. :-)

Recently, my junior and I are trying to combine kungfu with Buddhist practice. It is very similiar to Master Shi De Jian's internal Shao Lin. We will focus on that lately.
