@guarneri1742 -- the violins that we play in these sound samples are from a huge collection that is in the hands of the estate of the original owner. my brother and i have only one violin each...you can see us play our own violins on our personal youtube channel ~~
you did a good job :D it took me a month to get all the tactics down and play it :3 sometimes i play with my 1st and 3rd finger for the octave doublestops since my pinky is cruved lol
its a very beautiful piece and very well done ^w^ and ur simply sightreading!
i really love this one in particular. the funny thing is that like in one month I start with the violin :) and hearing this is actually amazing....im like totally :(. jajaj but i'll make my efort, till i play this and ave maria .....,my parents r going to hate me jajaj
cool! i wish i can play as good as you :) i really wants to play this piece but then i couldn't find the music sheet :( by the way this is my 5th time listen to this you're really good! have i ever mention how much i love this?
@kaykayvanessafly -- hi, thanks so much. i'm just a student violinist and not an expert on violins...it would be difficult for me to guess at the value of nice old french violin, but i know it depends on age, condiiton, sound quality, maker, etc.
@maulen152 -- the violins that my brother and i are sampling here on eboyinc are from a large collection of instruments. accompanying the instruments is a few large boxes of old (very old) sheet music. we get about 5 minutes with each instrument, just enough time to tune it up, pick a piece of music and record the sample. this piece was from an old book called Jascha Heifetz New Favorite Encores. once we finish the music goes back to the collection so thats the best i can remember.
me gusto la tonalidad en la que la estas tocando, pero si la interpretaras con mas calma osea con sus tiempos y silencios que tiene esta pieza se escucharia mejor, porque parese que tienes prisa por terminar e irte a otra cosa mas importante.
you are sooooooo amazinggg !!!!!.........i really love the violin but with my busy schedule i have no way to even study let alone practice the violin.......but i really really reallllllyyyy wanna be as awesome as you are !!! i guess ur kinda my role model now !! thank you !! ( and btw i love AVE MARIA ) =D
Dude , you are so good ! Im reading sheet music as your playing this and Im like , " Oh ma goodness , how do you play those notes together ?!?!?!!" And obviously you can so Im the loser here . xD .
@zheleo -- i'm still a student myself and i'm not the best person to be teaching you about vibrator as i'm still learning. what i can tell you is that it takes time to develop...and slow, patient practice. there are many good vids on YT that offer lessons on vibrato. check with ben chan as a start. then just start very slow, don't try to do it all in one practice session, but include the techniques in other forms of practice like scales. you'll get it :)
@eboyinc OMG! i'm doing the same thing. I've been practicing scales, and i've worked on my wrist and try taking time and using vibrato and the right tempo and go faster and faster, and now i'm getting it. Thanks anyways, your comment really help. And also i've been learning violin since 4th grade and now i'm in 6th so i'm not that skilled but at least ii can play like canon in D.
@shineelover16 -- someone just asked me this. i'm still a student myself and i'm not the best person to be teaching you about vibrator as i'm still learning. what i can tell you is that it takes time to develop...and slow, patient practice. there are many good vids on YT that offer lessons on vibrato. check with ben chan as a start. then just start very slow, don't try to do it all at once. include the techniques in other forms of practice like scales. it'll come to you :)
@hanspeterpitsch -- my brother and i sit in sometimes with a chamber group which is comprised of people who had always wanter to learn to play a string instrument but waited until they retired to do it. its never too late :)
@martinapassinni Thank you. I think I'm just gonna start. Musical hearing and music in general is my big talent after all. Boy does that sound "braggish" haha.
@hanspeterpitsch hey I'm just like you, I've always wanted to play violin and I'm 19 right now, turning 20 soon :P and I've just bought a violin one month ago and taking classes now. It's really really hard, but since we are older, we can get better faster thn a child who started playing at the age of 8. So let's say that we can get better in less time hopefully :) but I totally get you, I'm really bad right now, but I keep on trying and getting better, hopefully one day, I'll play ave maria..
@tsukiyomundo2 -- hi, always good to hear that someone is taking up the violin. my brother and i started in fourth grade and have been playing about 8 years now. but we sit in with an adult chamber group and many of the members of the group started as adults. as their determination and attention span is high and they had the personal desire to play, they do progress quickly. good luck and we hope you'll post some videos when you're ready...let us know--we'd love to hear you :)
@hanspeterpitsch Of course it's not to late, I started playing at 40 and learnt just as easily as a child, it's all about the time you put into it. I will never play in a symphony but it's never to late to play and play well.
@2009Bolero -- my brother and i used to sit in with a chamber group made up of all adult string players...the most experienced had been playing two years. they were great. motivation plays a big part in what drives a person to practice and to be self-analytical in the quality of the practicing. you should post some vids...it would be great to see and great for people thinking about starting :)
I love how Schubert's Ave Maria makes it feel like some one is playing the violin on your heart...well that's sorta what it feels like when I listen to it and it's a very hard thing to explain how I feel when some times it's like you can't explain with words
