I bought a westinghouse for 400 dollars 2 years ago,it just broke and it will take 300 dollars to fix,very dissapointed,and I took the tv for fix and appraisal to 4 different shops...all made fun of me for being such a sucker,aparently the hole world knows that you can't trust westinghouse,there's 0 customer service,only a phone number where you record your message and a webpage where you give a bunch of personal info,for nothing,never called back.that's my experience with westinghouse/crap.

I bought this tv.. and it has burn in.. unplugged 2 months.. white screensaver for 76 hours straight.. lines still there.. tv sometimes freezes up.. only fix is to unplug it to get it to restart. worst tv I have ever owned.. wish I kept my old tube tv.

just remember interlaced is half the quality of a parallel picture so when you see 1080i it works out to about 540p. and WTF there is no sucj thing as 720i because that would only work out to about 360p and whats the point in that and interlaced video takes up more broadcat bandwith as its harder to compress and keep quality.

720i stands for resolution of 1280x720 pixels and the magic little 'i' means that the video is in interlaced format. Other common HDTV resolutions are 1080i and 720p.

Walmart has the same size tv HDTV and vga compatable. I hooked it up to my computer. It is just as good as on my computer monitor. Its really good.

THe difference between 1080p and 720p is unnoticable to the human eye. You really have to analyze it to tell the difference

Westinghouse is suprisingly a good HDTV model. I have an HD ready LCDTV with a native resoution of 1440x900p (very close to 1080p). My progressive scan DVD player and Wii (component cables in 480p) look fantastic, and 480i television looks pretty good.

My only gripes is no HDMI connection (have to get a DVI to HDMI connector) and the seperate HD cable box. Plus the sound isn't all that great but can be easily fixed with some speakers or surround sound set up.
