i love your videos and lessons but i dont really care for that guitar, specifically just the look i mean it sounds great really but i dunno just based purely on looks i dont like. but your vids still kick ass and are very informative
Great mood of this melody.Only few notes from Dorian mode were played in different positions and that is why it sounds so interesting. Thanks for the concept.
Dorian is my favourite mode to play in, for most songs at least. I find it has the perfect balance of major/minor. The 5 to b6 intervals of the Aeolian sometimes seem to harsh for some songs, and the b2 degree of Phygian can add to much suspense.
I love how this mode sounds. Are you primarily playing in the first and second positions...if you could even really call them positions? I think too pentatonically, I suppose.
@LLMstratocaster Yeah, I think I am. After a while, positions are not really relevant. You just hear the notes and associate sounds to finger movements. Thanks so much for watching this!

I like your style. It's not the typical rock-fusion, you have a really clever playing, i mean how you choose the notes. The best style for that to me is gypsy jazz, really complex melodies and that stuff. One of my bests suscriptions on youtube.
