  • This is the best

  • Where can I buy a Vornado fan? I am not sure where I can buy one.

  • @JJ9715 Any place like kmart, walmart, sears, home depot, lowes, etc.

  • If this vornado can cool you in this hot and humid caribbean tropical climate.

Then we have ourselves a remarkable piece of invention.

Though history has taught me that nothing American ever works properly for our climate.

Would be interesting to see it on highest mode faced directly at you while you are asleep. Even if it wasn't designed for that purpose. I had a duracraft fan super powerful fan did wonders.

I just may try this vornado. Lets see if it can rip this place up.

  • sold!

  • I am thinking of buying one of this since I live in the Caribbean and its hot and humid here, and well regular fans are worthless and Air Conditioning is to expensive to run all the time due to high electric costs.

I installed some hunter ceiling fan but they don't give enough breeze. I am thinking of this Vornado but I am not sure if it would cool a room with PC and hot electronics like Amplifier etc. This room is very hot but I am not sure if this vornado can cool this hot and humid weather.

  • what are the odds....i live in trinidad as well....i am looking to get one...i will let you know how it works out..

  • LOL ow my you really live in Trinidad? wow small world.

But I realized the best way is indeed a ceiling fan since due to its very large size it uses Torque over RPM. Hence creating more air circulation and being super quiet.

But please let me know how it works when you do get one.

  • I've had a Vornado fan for the last 4 years. I use it every night, and a fair bit otherwise. It still works just as well as the day I bought it. No squeaking or anything from the motor, and it's easy to clean since it opens. Def. worth the money.

  • Vorando woops the llama's ass!

  • LOL...thats winamp right?

  • Vornado rules! I'm gonna buy that someday to replace my fan.

  • For us, upholding our brand promise is an absolute that is never compromised. Whether a Vornado product is assembled in Andover or Detroit or Stuttgart or Zhengzhou, Vornado quality is foremost. This is our promise - our commitment to you.

  • @VornadoAir Where are Vornado products made in besides the U.S.A and China?

  • Every Vornado product is conceived, designed, engineered, supported, and accounted for within our Andover HQ. Each product is subjected to rigorous supply-chain analysis to determine its place of origin. This analysis is structured to always uphold our brand promise of: delivering only the highest quality, only the best performing, only the most dependable machines to our customers.

  • We are an open company, always seeking ways to improve. We ask you to share with us what you may know about motors superior to the one sited in your note. We would work diligently on any lead you could provide us if there is a better motor, it should be in Vornado product, this is for sure.

  • Agreed. The only thing I wish they had would be USA made motors. The Superelectric sourced units aren't quite up to snuff. Already, my 783 has a rumble on low speed startup and I've only used it 4 months.

  • Vornado is the best fan available. Don't waste your time with copycats or old style box fans.
