@highwind99 FF10 is a real FF. Aside from the lack of the world map, it had everything the traditional FF games had. XI, XII and XIII weren't however.

The world of 12 is big and has the materials to be a final fantasy even if the "love" is not there. Also, 13 did have a love story although not a great one. final fantasy ix is a truly world of fantasies. . All of the white mage, black mage, magics, characters were all fantasy. . Not like other series that does not have any characters that wear any white mage or black mage costumes. .
The only thing wrong with this game is that Vivi expired which basically means he died of old age because black mages normal lives are only one year long but since Vivi was a prototype black mage he lived a bit longer but as Black mage no 288 said "its uncertain if he will live as long as a human or not. Say what you want, say FFVII is the king of final fantasy, say FFVIII has the ultimate love story, say FFX is the best game.
For me FFIX will always be the best Final Fantasy, I loved this game to death, but I haven't played it in years, however seeing this penultimate scene again has reignited everything I loved about this game, I've never played a video game, watched a movie or heard a song that's ever captivated me like FFIX has.
The ending to FF9 has to be my favourite ending to any game i've finished. It wraps up everything so well, the only thing i could say about this game is that its got one of the BEST stories behind it.
I'm over the moon happy that this game was added to the Playstation network. Now I get to relive the magic and wonder of the my favorite and what I feel is the best entry in the Final Fantasy series. Such a beautiful ending; pretty much the only one in the series I was really dying to see (honestly 7 and 8's were predictable; like Squall would actually die and Meteor would destory the planet; whatever ;P)

If you truly want Garnet's REAL name, it's Sarah. Garnet was just what she was called because the real Garnet died, and Sarah appeared on the shore because of the chaos in Madain Sari, a village for summoners. They immediately decided to replace Sarah as Garnet, and soon she was so forth apart of the royal family. Dagger is what Zidane called her, because her identity as a princess had to be secret when she traveled early in the game. Hope that answered your question. xD

Probly the best ending I've sean. I actually never got to sea the endings for 7 or 8 untill I found them on youtube and 10 is kind of sad although x2 gives you a happy endind. I love the whole love relation between these two. They're a bit young but I think that just makes it cuter.
in FF VII, it seems like fights are boring because anyone can do anything, so you just keep casting the same crap with all the characters then have whoever's turn it is do a heal when you need to. With FF IX you actually have to pay attention and decide if you want your healer to do a summon, wasting their turn or skip them for a sec incase you need to do a heal. Beyond that, items like Ether, Elixir are far more rare (not ether at the end of the game though).

@PrincessGarnetXVI I wouldn't change a thing about the ending. It's flawless. The last scene alone tells us everything we need to know about Zidane, Garnet, Steiner and some of the themes of the plot without one single line of dialogue.
Also, the other endings, I bet, took place right after the last boss fight. Instead they almost made it like an epilogue by putting time between the last fight and the denouement...it's genius, and the best FF ending by far imo.

I'm glad I took my time and got the hammer from gathering all the stellazio's, this without the cut scene doesn't make much sense... All the crowd sitting there for no reason and her running away from his throne without knowing what the fuck is going on, totally worth looking up the guides :p

@Atko95 lol The first one is immediatly after you beat necron and Zidane says that he has to go save Kuja, and then the second is "Some time later" where Dagger is watching a play and it turns out the lead actor is Zidane(It seems like everyone but Dagger knew that Zidane was alive at that point)
@RS2iscool there is a bonus scene if you managed to get all of Stellazio's pieces back to the lady in Treno, but that isn't an FMV, it is just a bonus scene in the play

I just beat this game about ten minutes ago. My disk also kept skipping when she ran through the doors and then it just cut to the end. The ending was so cute, it was perfect.

@fantasyguy86 Their both good games, I actually prefer FF IX, The graphics as you said are of course better in IX, but it was released 4 years later, back then they improved so fast that it's probably comparable with about 8 years in graphic advancement these days. I think you mean about the same thing with saying their of course better. I used prefer FF VII, but recently played VII and IX on psp go and changed my mind... But it's really hard to compare the two because their so different.

FF9 9 was the first one I have played and so far I think it was the best part. It has a great story and characters. I like all of them except maybe Queen XD And I also like the world there.
10 I like the least... have no idea why it is so popular =/ The characters are fine but story is nothing special. A typical "Save the world". One hero(with friends) who needs to defeat a big baddy.

By far my favorite game in the series and the most satisfying ending at that. Everything about this game was wonderful. Zidane and the crew were amoung the most colorful cast of characters in the FF saga. Another thing not too many people may not realize is that Kuja is never actually confirmed to be dead in this game. I mean yes it is more than likely he is, but at the same time, maybe not 0_0!!!

I love the ending but i didn't want the game to end! I just get sooo pulled into the story (and after playing several days) that when it ends i'm just lke "NOOOO!"

im confused, is the part where dagger runs out intothe crowd th hidden ending and the bit where she leaves zidane the normal ending? Ive seen tem both on the game but i dint know if it was the hidden one or not, i was like 6 when i first finishe this game

@Atko95 actually, both are part of the ending. It's just there are some scenes in between that aren't fmvs, so they didn't include it in the video.

@Atko95 lol The first one is immediatly after you beat necron and Zidane says that he has to go save Kuja, and then the second is "Some time later" where Dagger is watching a play and it turns out the lead actor is Zidane(It seems like everyone but Dagger knew that Zidane was alive at that point)

@RS2iscool there is a bonus scene if you managed to get all of Stellazio's pieces back to the lady in Treno, but that isn't an FMV, it is just a bonus scene in the play

This is my favorite game...EVER! FFX is a close second...but i haven't even done much of FF8 either...hmmm...I guess I'll never know until finishing xD but cha, zidane and garnet for the EPIC win!!!

ff9 is the best i love the game it means so so much to me i played this game first out of all the ff and it still moves me even today ;3
this game got me into drawing as well..
the story is so beautifully developed and the characters are breath taking... if they did remake it they must not change anything just up the graphics a little....
they probably wouldn't though...

I just beat this game about ten minutes ago. My disk also kept skipping when she ran through the doors and then it just cut to the end. The ending was so cute, it was perfect.

My personal favorite FF was definitely FF8... I honestly think 7 is way too over-rated... Yeah, it was an amazing game... Just too much OMGOMG WTF FF7 IS TEH SHYYTTT. sorta stuff...

played both personally i like FF7 better than FF9 but i still liked FF9 tho FF8 beat both and FF10 beat FF8 in my opinion, but thats just it my opinion. there is no fact that any is better that the others cuz its all opinion

@DargorMajere I think that FF7 is better than FF9 because of the story and the characters, but FF9 has better graphics offcourse and a great story as well, however the characters doesn't speak too me in FF9 the way they does in FF7.

@fantasyguy86 Their both good games, I actually prefer FF IX, The graphics as you said are of course better in IX, but it was released 4 years later, back then they improved so fast that it's probably comparable with about 8 years in graphic advancement these days. I think you mean about the same thing with saying their of course better. I used prefer FF VII, but recently played VII and IX on psp go and changed my mind... But it's really hard to compare the two because their so different.

I agree.Best FF games i ever played from Ps1 and 2 were 7,8,9 and 10.Now i cant wait to play 13 on my Ps3.FF9 was really great though it hasnt been a long time seens i played it.Thanks for uploading this video.:D

So far I have playd FF 9 (fully) and FF 10 and 12 (still playing)
FF9 9 was the first one I have played and so far I think it was the best part. It has a great story and characters. I like all of them except maybe Queen XD And I also like the world there.
10 I like the least... have no idea why it is so popular =/ The characters are fine but story is nothing special. A typical "Save the world". One hero(with friends) who needs to defeat a big baddy.
12 seems more interesting in comparison

In my opinion, FFX have few Final Fantasy elements, FF12 even less and FF13 has none.
If you liked FF9, play 4, 6, 7 and 8.

By far my favorite game in the series and the most satisfying ending at that. Everything about this game was wonderful. Zidane and the crew were amoung the most colorful cast of characters in the FF saga. Another thing not too many people may not realize is that Kuja is never actually confirmed to be dead in this game. I mean yes it is more than likely he is, but at the same time, maybe not 0_0!!!
