yes think they do and actually, they also use kanji aswell with it! which is really really hard like what other people said

Is it okay to write katakana with hiragana sometimes? Cause sometimes when I write in katakana I can't think of a symbol so I use one from hiragana. Not sure if thats a bad thing.

hiragana is used for original japanese writing. it also expresses perticles that link nouns and verbs. Kanji is used to symbolize names... katakana is used for foriegn names and words imported into japan.
