i have a question... its a silly one.. but i am a new mac and when i put application and downloads folder into my dock... the icons for apps in it shows... i dont want that i want the application folder icon there... what should i do? and i am a Lion user.

@MacCracks2012 right click on the application and downoads folder and click display as folder. hope this helps, in running snow leopard so i cant confirm this works on lion but try it anyway

Laughing my a s s off. Getting an orgasm from tabbed file browsing. Really. Any Linux distribution has file browser with tabs and two panes (Dolphin, Nautilus, even Konqueror which is double file/web browser). Poor little boy- he discovered tabbed file browsing. Wow what a modern feature you have to pay.I can even have it with right click in the context menu.

Raven is not that stable yet, i tried it a few weeks ago and it was fairly buggy. Total finder on the other hand works like a charm and it's a MUST HAVE. Window Tidy is very convenient but you won't die if you didn't have it.

I'm using Ravenapp for 3weeks now, but it is still very buggy(version 0.6.x). it has big troubles with flash and it isn't very stable. It crashes every 3days and it won't reopen all the tabs from previous session.

So I would not recommend it, cause it is still beta. But it has some nice features.

ugh why don't they make apps for leopard anymore. i hate snow leopard. that thing feels terrible to operate. its not as smooth as i would like it to be. lion is too different. it doesn't have many of the shortcut options and customization options that snow leopard and leopard have. so unfair. i thought each successive OS should add more stuff to the OS, not take away stuff.
