Roxy is having one of her friends make me a DVD VH1 video on the reunited in 2007? Can't remember the year, but the reunited was all original band players.
Roxy has her own website and you can email her to talk to her. I did she took about 2 weeks to reply though. They did get back together quite a few time I looked at their bio. I wish I knew about them in 97 I would have loved to see them live and maybe be lucky enough to go back stage. I would have been 17 years old. I believe they finally broke up around 2002-2005 was their last tour. They tried a few times and it didn't look well. After 2002-2005 is when they split up for good.

I worked for a music magazine in 1988-89, and got to meet Vixen at a club here that was called Rock n Roll Heaven. THEN their record rep asked if I could drive one of them to their hotel! I ended up driving the drummer, Roxy Petrucci, and a keyboard player, and some gear in my dad's Aries K Car! I wasn't allowed to go up to the hotel room tho, but it was still heavenly to be near them! They're all so beautiful, and very clam and cool in person!

jtkriskey..you're absolutely right! Jan still rocks but, the rest were "fair" at best and the attitudes backstage were completely ridiculous. I was really disappointed with them. Meanwhile, Brad Gillis (secs before he went on) took pics with us as did Stephen Pearcy of Ratt. No attitudes, just nice guys. Next year should be even better! But, I'd like to see more female performers...maybe Lita will show again and possibly Chrissie...who knows?

@bru5520 Wish they would stayed together little longer, they had a future, but they gave up. There were so many other bands out there that did not make it as big as they did, but they kept at it. Vixen could have been legends in the Rock world.

I hate it when people are so critical of Kurt Cobain like that other arsehole. I know he had an undiagnosed stomach condition which caused him great pain, and Heroin numbed that for him, i know how it feels as I also have an undiagnosed stomach problem, sometimes I feel like giving up aswell. Kurt took more drugs than I do, perhaps he couldnt take it anymore, maybe he didnt even kill himself, who knows. Certainly isnt the place for people to judge, like you said, Who knew him?

it is not because of him that we have people of this discription, people your crude discription have been around isince long before nevana. emo is emotional music and therefore does not exist because all rock and other forms of music are emotional, one cannot write a song without putting emotion in it, whether it be in the lyrics or in the tune.

@JonnySerge I did grow up in the 80's. I was in 9th grade in 1988. Hairband music (not that we knew that term then - we just called it Rock or Metal) is all about fun and sex and good times. That's why I still enjoy it.
These girls look terrific and played some decent songs. I would choose Lita over them, but they did it better because they were the whole band. Thank you, The Runaways, for making a band like this possible.
My favorite big-haired ladies of the eighties. Absolutely love this song.
And yes, Grunge did ruin everything... I know, I was there. Granted, I do have a soft spot for Pearl Jam's "Ten" album... THIS is real energetic, feel-good rock!

What i like about this era is like artists never lose their sexual identity, you can clearly see that this is an awesome job done by females, unlike nowadays, its hard to tell whether X is a guy or a girl. and their works suck ^^ .. missing their awesome era :)

jtkriskey..you're absolutely right! Jan still rocks but, the rest were "fair" at best and the attitudes backstage were completely ridiculous. I was really disappointed with them. Meanwhile, Brad Gillis (secs before he went on) took pics with us as did Stephen Pearcy of Ratt. No attitudes, just nice guys. Next year should be even better! But, I'd like to see more female performers...maybe Lita will show again and possibly Chrissie...who knows?

I hate it when people are so critical of Kurt Cobain like that other arsehole. I know he had an undiagnosed stomach condition which caused him great pain, and Heroin numbed that for him, i know how it feels as I also have an undiagnosed stomach problem, sometimes I feel like giving up aswell. Kurt took more drugs than I do, perhaps he couldnt take it anymore, maybe he didnt even kill himself, who knows. Certainly isnt the place for people to judge, like you said, Who knew him?

@JonnySerge I did grow up in the 80's. I was in 9th grade in 1988. Hairband music (not that we knew that term then - we just called it Rock or Metal) is all about fun and sex and good times. That's why I still enjoy it.
These girls look terrific and played some decent songs. I would choose Lita over them, but they did it better because they were the whole band. Thank you, The Runaways, for making a band like this possible.
