This song soothed my soul in the military for 5 years from 1960 to 1965. Charles Brown wrote it and Ralph Burns did the strings. I consider this album survival food for the soul and spirit. I sang and recorded it in 2001 with the Park-White Dou available at C.D.Baby. I met Charles Brown in 1999 and he gave me permission to record it and informed me that B.B King, Ray Charles and James Brown all worked for him before they were famous but never gave him credit.
