@hpahmi first we must understand that the notion that female is the root of all evil is ONLY in Christianity and Judaism. we muslims highly revere our women. as such, all your arguments become null and void. where in bible does it say muslims like to fight fellow muslims? it was revealed to jesus before islam is brought by Muhammad (the one we follow). regarded if its there, it just shows that someone had altered the content after Muhammad came, and your bible is IMPURE, and so is Christianity!!

@07jiejie I may not ustaz, but are you?I may not ustaz,but I refer to an ustaz,Ustaz Zaharuddin,a famous writer of Islamic Finance books,using sahih hadiths,I didn;t say that I don not have any sins,and which of my comments does it say that I'm cursing this woman?I forbid what is wrong.Now the strongest hadith about this is women doing AZAAN.Azan contains words of da'wah for example Haaiya 'ala ssolah,but still it is wrong. And few more.
@07jiejie this is not only agreed by Ustaz Zaharuddin but few more distinguish scholars, Ustaz Azhar, including International orators of Islam for example Dr Zakir Naik, Yusuf Estes, and lots more. And the reason I'm commenting here is doing the right thing in the Quran, surah Ali Imran ch.3 verse.110, the same surah verse 104, and surah al asr chapter 103. how's that? now, if you still don't agree with sahih hadiths and quran then you're concluded as perople in a hadith in Riwayaat Ahmad.

Brother, First of all We are not suppose to decide ourselves what is Haram and Halal for us, we have to follow what Allah and his messenger Muhammmad(pbuh) told us . we can not say about something should be done that seems good to us but there is evil in it. If we do not have enough ilm(knowledge) about something we should get it in touch with people who have ilm.
@roseislam18 .. i don't see any evidence from the Quran or Sunnah that the woman's voice is haram. Women at the time of Prophet used to come and talk to him and complain about their problems and they used to even say salam to other people. Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) never said women shouldn't sing islamic songs to others. i understand your point, but muslim women should be heard all around the world and deliver their messages. We can't keep them quite and everything about them is haram.
@TheTareksharaf Brother, don't get me wrong. Women's voice is only aurat when you're trying to make it sound good. By saying salaam to each other is not haraam. Islamic songs by muslim women are completely halal, but only could be heard by their mahraams, ie. among the women themselves, their families and all of those. Muslim women are allowed to deliver their message, alright but must be purely halal. Now evidence from Al-Quran and Sunnah, see Surah AlAhzaab v. 32. there are many more.

As a man myself I did not think anymore beyond cuteness. And the surah is numbered 33. Not 59. Yes i know Allah did not say sing. Does melody ALWAYS? or FREQUENTLY cause lust? Love songs sometimes does (I think) but this is definitely not a love song. Listen to other songs from such as Lenka. There shouldnt be any lust.

@amiame115 Da'wah whilst doing a forbidden thing in Islam is haram. It is the same as you're trying to dawah a person that is drinking alcohol by YOU drinking it quite a lot and drunk and your aim is so that the person knows that the motive alcohol is forbidden. You cannot da'wah a person(which is a good thing) while at the same time you mix it with a forbidden thing. The voice of a woman IS aurat, according to the verse 32 in Surah Al Ahzaab. Get it?
@roseislam18 Oh okay. after you pointed that out, I was thinking about "music is not haram" not "Women sing infront of men". if a woman sings infront of men (non-mahram terms) then that might bring out lust for men. but in my way of thinking for songs of daawah does it really bring out lust? Allah warns women not to sing softly in front of men because it might lead to sinful acts.

If you want to sing or nasyeed, it is necessary that you have to make melody. and it is the same reason, it will lead to sinful acts. and that includes your heart aswell. Let me bring you to a clear statement of this woman. If you understand Malay read all the comments in her page. See what men talk about?

And the reason I'm commenting here is doing the right thing in the Quran, surah Ali Imran ch.3 verse.110, the same surah verse 104, and surah al asr chapter 103. how's that? now, if you still don't agree with sahih hadiths and quran then you're concluded as perople in a hadith in Riwayaat Ahmad.

Women at the time of Prophet used to come and talk to him and complain about their problems and they used to even say salam to other people. Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) never said women shouldn't sing islamic songs to others. i understand your point, but muslim women should be heard all around the world and deliver their messages. We can't keep them quite and everything about them is haram.

@TheTareksharaf Brother, don't get me wrong. Women's voice is only aurat when you're trying to make it sound good. By saying salaam to each other is not haraam. Islamic songs by muslim women are completely halal, but only could be heard by their mahraams, ie. among the women themselves, their families and all of those. Muslim women are allowed to deliver their message, alright but must be purely halal. Now evidence from Al-Quran and Sunnah, see Surah AlAhzaab v. 32. there are many more.

It is the same as you're trying to dawah a person that is drinking alcohol by YOU drinking it quite a lot and drunk and your aim is so that the person knows that the motive alcohol is forbidden. You cannot da'wah a person(which is a good thing) while at the same time you mix it with a forbidden thing. The voice of a woman IS aurat, according to the verse 32 in Surah Al Ahzaab. Get it?

Allah warns women not to sing softly in front of men because it might lead to sinful acts.

@amiame115 "Allah warns women not to sing softly in front of men because it might lead to sinful acts." In 59:32 it doesn't say SING SOFTLY but it is straight away TALK SOFTLY. If you want to sing or nasyeed, it is necessary that you have to make melody. and it is the same reason, it will lead to sinful acts. and that includes your heart aswell. Let me bring you to a clear statement of this woman. If you understand Malay read all the comments in her page. See what men talk about?
