I would love this guitar but with 3 p90s and different woods. Tv Yellow, black p90s (alnico V in the neck), alder body, solid rosewood neck, maestro style tremolo. Classic look with some unique aspects and unique tone.

I've owned the worn version of this guitar with AlNiCo II pickups. The neck felt great, but the tone was trebley and the trussrod was wimpy. I ended up trading it for a fender american deluxe telecaster.

If I keep mine (black) I'll put in a regular toggle for the bridge and neck and use the tone for a volume for the third p/up and dial it in as much as I want and acheive all 7 settings (as many as you can get without coil tapping)..........I don't use tone on any of my guitars.

i didn't read the comment, but in my opinion, I would prefer having a 24 fret guitar just so that the upper frets are easier to access. I have a 22 fret guitar and a 24 fret guitar and the 24 is just a lot easier to play.

I have a Gibson SG (USA) with a single P90 pickup, but don't know the actual name of the guitar (classic, junior etc..) it came with a different scratch plate design to all the others that i have seen- if someone could help me, i would appreciate it !!

It's an SG Junior (or a Les Paul Junior depending on the year it was made). Before I can help you I have to know what your your scratch plate looks like. As far as I'm concerned, the SG only has 2 types, the full batwing or the classic which is like the one in the video.

When i bought it, i was told it was one of very few made, but after looking at pictures on google, i think it's an SG Junior like you said, and the scratch plate has to be the batwing as it definately isnt the one featured in the video. Thanks for your help !
