I always thought Luongo wore that ridiculously oversized equipment so that he could cover most of the net by just standing there. I guess it also serves to protect him from when he throws himself onto the ice. Sad thing is that he's actually a good goalie. Not the best like some people claim, but good. He's also diver, and people focus on that because it's dirty. Mike Ribeiro's a good player too, but people only remember him as a weasel. Such a misuse of talent.

Lets see, the first 'dive', 187 pounds straining against his NECK, yeah I'm sure that doesn't hurt. 2nd one I think its pretty obvious he lost his balance, and if you'd shown the rest of the clip you'd see that he gets right back up. The 3rd one is just laughable because you show the most obstructed view; show the other angle and it is quite clear he was pushed over.
