It's the same old tired Socialist crowd that turns out for every big-Lib protest. Just Google it: Several months ago Moveon.org began sending out emails to get ready to “March on Wall Street”. Activists begin organizing protests. The unions joined in, recruiting for the “March on Capitalism”. So, this isn't a spontaneous group of people outraged at evil-banks & successful-businesses; this is an organized movement by unions & special-interest groups of the radical left.

I have a question for those that follow this movement...at its core, what it is trying to accomplish? Are you somehow going to get rid of greed or self-interest? I would counter and say that no matter who is put in that position, the majority of people would start doing the same things that are done now.

Is the movement also claiming greed is the sole factor to blame for high executive compensation? I would counter and say the corruption in DC get the most blame cause they control & finance it!

@imatruthaddict At it's core: Ethical Economics. How sustainable is our system? How quickly are we exploiting the resources of the entire world casting disenfranchised creatures and people. Greed is a factor, but EVERYONE is responsible for regulating their consumption, desiring less and WAKING UP from the hypnotic spell of frenzied consumerism that advertisers have cast over the entire developed world. Capitalism isn't sustainable without ethical environmental and social incentives.

@imatruthaddict Ethical environmental and social incentives for the longevity of our species. PPRs and NPOs are a good place to start.....but real sustainability requires global demand for goods that reflect ethical practices. It requires a new kind of economics. Right now, personal profit is the main incentive in capitalism. Is there a way we can inject into the public some awareness about the ecological damage we are doing to our world and create incentives to profit from repairing it?
