  • love it mane tell the truth of our home

  • Yes this started with the Growth Management Act in the early 1990's.

It was a way to take away the homes and property of the lower or lower middle class and transfer their assets to the wealthy (developers, apartment owners) and create a world or workers who would pay most of their income towards rent having very little left over. Before a lower middle class worker could gain asserts by owning a small house, eventually paying it off and do quite well.Good documentary thanks for making it.

  • I Really liked your Concept and Idea , You are really Tacoma's Secret , Don't worry the Brilliant stuff is always suppressed & looked down upon by the mediocre and the hegemonic ~ keep it up

  • Very Interesting . And Beautifully Shot Is it available?

  • @tacomamama

just the trailer my friend. you have not seen the full film.

  • @tacomamama person saying it is Detroit is you which says to me that you made that connection and thus attached the stigma of Detroit on it. i feel you defeated your own argument

  • @tacomamama The new Salishan community has more crime than ever before well that is what the TNT says

  • I do like the visuals but this just wasn't an idea that started in '05 Most of these condos stand on lots of homes and business long abandoned by the owners. Most destroyed by fire or already in a state of decay that was beyond repair in the early 80's. Several of these fires I covered. The gangs did not help. The poor, middle class and the wealthy moved to get away. Until the condos came, those buildings were havens of crime.

  • @VX2100DV no thats interesting id like to hear your take on the de facto history of Tacoma.

  • Fantastic

  • Awesome wondeful *****

  • you ever coming up to seattle?

  • Wow Joseph! Is this going to be a full feature? I see what you mean. Detroit- people just left. Same with Gary IN. Some of that is going on in my neighborhood, but being L.A. it changes from block to block. We have this huge empty lot just a few houses down from me. Big hopes of building condos and shopping in a blue collar neighborhood. Then the economy went to hell. At least the neighbors sometimes use the field for soccer. You go north and it is being built up.

  • when is the long version coming out ? Good one Joe !
