The new sonic games are ok but not great. The one's I did enjoy a lot were sonic advance sereis and sonic rush. I just miss the classic were it was a fast rushing stage no matter what character you chose. Also miss being able to use sonic tails and knuckles super form durring normal gameplay like u can in sonic 3 & Knuckles. Though sonic advance series and sonic rush did a good job.

The more recent Sonic games are better in terms of emerald collection, because it makes more sense for them to be dotted randomly around the world for characters to find than at the end of some lineur, halfpipe-shaped alternate-dimension thing where you need a load of rings just to go into another section of it while avoiding hordes of bombs.
