  • i just got myself a 16mm to learn. hope one day i can upgrade to 35mm.

you can say what you want but film compared to video, the winner ALWAYS is film.

  • BELLA ARRI FOREVER

  • Hello.

Can you show us or explain how we change movie gate, size(format) 1.33 1.85 on camera ARRI 2C? Thank you.

  • The yellow plastic part is a Kodak Type U Core-35mm with a 2-in. (51 mm) outer diameter and a 1-in. (25,4 mm) ceter hole. The negativ spool is a 200-ft (61m) color negativ loaded in a regular 200-ft (60 m) Arri magazine. There is a 400-ft (up to 150 m) magazine available for these caneras also.

  • Could you tell me the lenth and width of the magazine, and the inner (the hole in the yellow part) and outer diameter of the film?

  • where did you get that? I want one!

  • @henryadrain14

    What exactly do you mean?

  • @KelleFilm I mean where did you find it?

  • @henryadrain14 i guess you have no idea what that cost? or do you have 5000$ in your pocket? and that is just the camera...you need to buy film and then pay to develop etc...

  • Nice video. I had 8mm camera only but I was every time fascinated when I loaded film into camera.

  • What a great demonstration! I learned a lot from this video. Thank you! Julian

  • Great tutorial effect ! Yep, of course, I have my own 35mm Arriflex IIB motion picture camera ( please visit my YouTube videos to see my own 35mm filmmaking activities there ) as the camera goes marvollous nice with minimum problem. I have replaced the battery-op unit into 16V power convertor and it goes Ok with test 35mm film stock after done from film lab. This baby can do running well with 200ft and 400ft 35mm magazines - Well, anyone have ever used this camera with 1000 ft 35mm magazine ???

  • There are two ways to operate the camera with 1000 ft magazine. You can use the sound blimp housing called ARRI-Blimp 300 or a set up called "300 m Stummapparatur" for Arriflex 35 introduced in 1968. This setup has a flatbase with interchangable 110V and 220V synchronous motors and 24V DC motor. It has also separate torque motors. All these are mounted on a kind of skeleton to stabilize the large magazine and the non orientable viewfinder extension. The weight of the unit is 48 lbs loaded.

  • wow. still a beautiful camera. Great video dude!

  • wer mehr analoge Filmkunst bestaunen will

schaut auf den Staubfilm Kanal 8 und 16mm

    Kurzfilme und Musikvideos

  • You are right. All motion picture camera films are to handle in total darkness. The filmsock what you see is just for display use from overlong storage.

  • how many (fps) frames per second should you use for dialog scenes and how many should you use for action scenes?

  • Aren't you supposed to load the magazine inside a bag?

  • Yes but I assume for demo purposes to show you how to load, its fine.

  • thank you sooo much for putting this video up. i needed to do a model for school and i'm going for this one. i had trouble finding a motion picture camera taht would help. again, thanks

  • wauuw. apik tenann.

    Weiter so!

  • gut gemacht.. wunderbar kamera von arri.. :)
