great stuff. the effects are not that cheesey compared to the effects done in the actual serials. As they were running in the cave I wondered if they would be hit by the Batmobile, or run into the robot monster, or the blood beast, or....

As a Republic Serial fan I loved the homage to their Rocketmen Characters as well as the in-gag of naming the Rail Yard after the Lydecker Brothers (who did the special effects including the Flying Sequences) for Republic. I also loved the use of the Flying Dutchman Overture (which was the theme music used for the Flash Gordan Serials).
