  • fantastica car!

  • NECTAR TO THE EARDRUMS.

  • Sounds great mate.. is that a standard capri 3000gt exhaust system?

  • surprising it escaped the banger racing track

  • mmmm...I want one

  • wny you no scrap these old car and get the reliant robins?

  • Broadspeed or Ureen tuned engine ;-?

    Nice Time warp indeed...

  • I would so love to restore this car

  • Use 1:100 (1%) two stroke oil in your tank to prevent tank and engine corrosion if you use the modern aggressive fuel that contain 5-10% methanol (not good for the old engine and fuel system materials!)

  • I owned a 1972 3000E manual in the same colour blude about 18 years ago, it went well with >100000 miles on the clock. Regret ever selling it.

I can asure you it sounds a lot more noisy in a confined space like a garage!

  • hey did you buy this from Flamborough in east yorks? i went to see one there just like it a coupla years ago, it had been stood for years.

  • sounds nice but your car is dissolving

  • You're about right there, the engine is great but the bodywork and chasis has got too rusty so it is no longer viable to restore. I have just sold the engine so that will live on in another Capri.

  • @KTMSD990

very sad these Mk1 are extremely rare now..here in Germany ONLY 2 of those

late 60s capris are allive and they are even not 6 cyl only 4 cyl...a Mk1 3000 is something as the holy grale of capri lovers

  • @KTMSD990

Asif, the mk1 capri is rare-never mind the 3 litre one,

youve lost mega ££££ if you scapped it..

  • @theborglord you right that a dam shame i could have found someone to pick up the body alone for a good amount of money....hope he saved the drivetrain/ and complete front brige/suspension..e.t.c i have been looking for one to restore for like 10years
