I don't think he'll have a problem getting people to laugh. I think the main reason Democrats didn't want to laugh at Obama is because they were so nervous. While Republicans were angry (as you could see by their rallies), Democrats were nervous about whether or not Obama could win. Now that he has they can sit back, relax and have a laugh when a funny joke about him is told.
