you are quite right in using the word epic to describe this. I was supposed to go to this event but had to do something for marching band =( I can't describe my sadness at the fact that I missed a chance to see Julia. Thank you for posting this. It makes it mildly better that I couldn't go.

This is really beautiful. The raw emotion going into this song trumps any sort of vocal blemish here and there. It's really fantastic.

yeah, i know what you mean. i've heard singers perform as if they're 2nd graders reciting a memorized poem. no emotion at all.

in contrast when julia nunes sings, you can feel that she means every word. it's always as if it's the first time she sings the song and the emotion is still so fresh. only that it's not the first time but the emotion is still there.
