If you're facing someone that knows how to use her (and in most cases, someone who doesn't) it's almost impossible to touch Dark Phoenix even with her low health. I know this because I play a friend who uses her all the time. She is definitely cheap and OP

A beam character will destroy her. Also, snap back people to get to her before she can rebirth into Dark Phoenix. You can also use the timer against her.

@GetTheHook I don't believe in draining the timer that's cheap in it's self. Snapback don't work or don't everyone would do that? All she has to do is play keep away for 2 seconds and then they can call her out it's useless. Phoenix is garbage.

if people are doing this with phoenix, then you play against pathetic people, I use phoenix and I barely use her homing TK shot. teleport and TK trap are her aces in the hole, also people chain she's cheap. All characters are when they are in cheap hands, Phoenix can be beat quickly and easily. All you gilts do is get close, 1 combo into a HC, and done, Also, just Block her as you more close and take advantage of miss fires, if you stand under Phoenix on her heavy Tk shot, it went home in on u

It's your own goddamn fault for not punishing in the right time. If you get beaten by spam in MvC3 (only dark phoenix is really un-punishable) then hit up the training mode. Ammy has her level one, which hits all over the stream. Super skrull has his backwards shoryuken special AND meteor smash. You suck. kthxbai

@Devious0682 Oh rest assured, you had characters that could deal with Phoenix. The real issue here is Dark Phoenix. Again, hit up training up. You had phoenix when you hitted her with Ammy. Ammy also has a move that reflects projectiles. Yeah, Phoenix is cheap. But consider the amount of health she has. It's fair.
