What? a system with FSB Technology doesn't enable a core and disable a core like that! If that is true than why doesn't a dual core system perform like a single core processor. If that was true, then no one needs to buy a dual core processor with the has FSB Technology.

Depending on the CPU a system's bus can ran optimally or sub-par,
a System with 1066MT/s bus will run great with the correct CPU (Phenom, Core 2 Duo etc,) but with a Pentium 4, Athlon 64 the bus would run horribly slow (on purpose).
The pentium 4's still Good, just not AS good as it could have been because intel rather than Work on the Pipeline' and other things (such as it's architecture) focused on Raising the clock speed more and more.
It's good for Cheap setups that don't do much, (Like watching youtube, surfing the net, playing a not so heavy Game here and there).
But yeah, compared to the Athlon series, it sucks.
Though AMD has taken YEARS to get below the damned 100nm process, and then 65nm. lol
If the cache is shared, the cpu core would simply need to retrieve it. That little green and red switch thing is completely wrong.
