  • the reason for remote disconect is for say you booster panels they won't silence the horn/strobes untill you push that button. Signal silence is only silencing the horn/strobes hooked to the panels NAC's

  • Speaking of fireshields.

The apartment place my dad works at has the older fireshield with 10 zones.

The building is quite old and the panel is definately not the origional installation.

I believe there was an edwards 6500 or 8500 or something because of an annunciator at the door. At another door end there's what looks like a panel and it is flush mounted. I'll try to get a video of it.

  • You can also program the strobe/horns to Genesis mode, Temporal mode, and Continuous mode.

  • The Remote Disconnect button disables or enables FSDACT. Has no effect on alarm relay.

  • Lol how many panels does this make now?

  • Is the candella sticker on the Integrity's strobe black?

If so, it is not an "Enhanced Integrity"-- it will not work on older ones with the black sticker. If the sticker is in red, it is enhanced. Same applies to remote strobes.

  • The strobes are white background with black letters.

  • Can the panel not do a traditional audible silence where it disables the horn NAC only?

  • It does a coded audible silence. I have not found a way to do a traditional silence on the panel.

  • what are you doing with the viking panel

  • You will see later this week, I made a board set up to test individual alarms.

  • cool!

  • Congratulations on your new panel! Looks great!
