@TheJanster100 I can't either. Just as ignorant as when he originally posted and over reacted to my response. Which is typical of anyone who speaks before they research. He knows little if anything true about Titanic and her passengers. I think we should allow the ignorant to wallow in their bliss.
@Dapplepool1 She single handedly saved the women in her lifeboat from exposure by comandeering the boat from Robert Hichens (who was inept in the time of crisis) and wouldn't allow them to row. She ordered them to row thusly keeping them warm and preoccupied. As dawn broke she spotted flares and ordered them to row towards them despite Hichen's condemnation. The flares were from Carpathia, the rescue ship. She later awarded Carpathia crewmen and captain with medals of bravery.
She's called the unsinkable Molly Brown because of the first class ticket she had. If she had been just another third class passenger she would now be known as the chick that couldn't get on a lifeboat that got left behind with all the rest of the poor people. She may have indeed have been a great woman, but it was cash that saved her life plain and simple.
@LightenUpMcGraw Really? Then how do you explain the nearly 200 third class passengers who survived. Survived by boarding lifeboats, even the onw Mrs. Brown was in? Are you familiar with her story at all? If you were more aquainted with her heroic actions that night that saved the women in her lifeboat you may not be so quick to pass judgement. A misguided judgement might I add. I suggest more research on your part before voicing your opinion publically. Makes you look less presumptuious.
@norwegiangod2002 -Hey dipshit, I'll decide what, when, and why I chose to post got that? You better just stick to speaking for yourself and make sure you don't fall off that high horse you're perched on. Clearly the larger point being made was that the odds of a third class passenger making it to safety were completely stacked against them largely based on money and partly on gender. But OK lets check the facts, you said 200 3rds survived, so tell me how many 3rds didn't survive?
@norwegiangod2002 On my video? I don't think so you have no say in what you post here moron. And you actually made no valid point in your diatribe whatsoever, other than you're a complete idiot who has little interest in actual study of history. Rather you're one of those who give into the popular myths. I was merely pointing out that what you posted was one of these myths made into questionable fact by years of other ignorant non fact searching idiots telling themselves their "opinion" is right
She is called unsinkable because she said so, at least she made clear that she did thing which Titanic didn't - survive. If your statement would be correct, then everyone from 1st class survivors would be called unsinkable.
@MetalScull - WTF are you trying to say? That first thought is a doozy, try proof reading your content. Listen I'm sure old Molly was just a real gem, but bottom line if you were a rich lady holding a first class ticket you had a much better chance of being "unsinkable" then if you were say any man, or a second or third class passenger. Thats not an opinion thats a fact, no debate possible. Just look at the records of who survived and the tickets they held. Cash was on her side.
@LightenUpMcGraw Wow every comment and response from you proves your absolute ignorance on this topic. I'd like to hear your thoughts on other topics which have accumulated a century of misjudgment and rumour. you'd probably back every conspiracy theory and non sense view ever spouted. No argument, just pointing out how clearly ignorant you are. Leave Titanic to those who are willing to research beyond the tips of their noses. ;)
@norwegiangod2002 You know what, fuck you and your condescending attitude. You actually think class and money wasn't a factor in who lived and who died and you call me ignorant? From the tip of my nose file:Almost %100 of 1st&2nd class children survived. 97% of 1st class women survived...3rd class women? how about a 46% survival rate. And 3rd class children? 34% survived. If Miss Molly had held a 3rd class ticket that night, 54% chance she doesn't even make it on a life boat. Go fuck yourself!
I can't believe LightenUpMcGraw's statements...Good for you for standing up to your original point/meaning....Touche'
