I am not a niqab or a hijab wearer but I am a Muslim by choice. The niqab/hijab has nothing to do with men whatsoever. Its a commitment a modest Muslim woman does out of respect and love for her God.

I know many niqabi's and hijabi women, some who are married, some who are single, some who has elder female relatives that have never worn it. It has nothing to do with "obedience" or "slavery" or "men". If you would like to learn more about why its important I will gladly explain.
