i think this is more realistic to drive than Racedriver Grid. I have grid and the cars are going way to fast and now i am installing gtr and race 07:p

Hey, i've just got a G25 Logitech, but i can't figure out how to get the full 900 degrees steering lock on in GTR Evo, i've only got like a quarter of a turn, what do I do?

Try changing the deadzones and the steering sensitivity, also some games let you choose how much your wheel actually turns and adjust to that.

Sorry, no crysis level graphics in this, it's a simulation...not a test bed for FPS junkies and people wanting to boast 'oh look I can play crysis on max detail with 40fps!!!'.

People developing REAL simulations really couldn't give a crap what the graphics look like. The only people who do care, are the ones who are only going to play it for graphics.

saying "sorry, its a simulation" isn't a reason at all. Just because the cars may handle more life like than other games, it doesn't excuse it from presenting itself properly.

Modern computers are more than capable of rendering tracks in greater detail than what we see here and the developers should have exploited that and used it to add to the simulation experience.

Well if you were a fan of Simulations, you wouldn't care that much about graphics which are quite good. Bad Graphics are much worse in my opinion. I don't say that you can have one or the other, but many people want Crysis Level Graphics which only a few PCs can handle. I just think that people should stop rating games only for the graphics and should look more for the gameplay which is great in this game.

I agree. I've played GRID before with a G25 and it's total bullsh!t. It looks beautiful, but it feels too arcade and steering those cars with a G25 is like driving with a 10 ton semi without power steering. (I even think that a 10 ton semi responds even better than this.)

I still prefer GTR2. :) It doesn't have the best graphics and it gets pretty old, but I love to push my Saleen S7 between the Ferrari's, the Lamborghini's and the Porsches. ^^

Yeah, using A G25 with GRID is just ridiculous, i tried it myself and it was awful. And anyone who says GRID is a proper race sim, needs to be checked up.

lol yeah i tried grid with my dfp and it feels like the cars steering system is made of chewing gum... but when i set my dfp to 180 degree is becomese a difrrent story!... feels like karts that are waaay to responsive and it becomse undrivable even more... grid is shit gtr evo is da thing !
