i agree on the long bathroom queue and that happens in Mena where Hajjaj spent their time in tents. the place is so small so it wont be wise to make it full of bathrooms where no place for people to stay ! that's why the government started replacing tents with buildings so that there will be more room for ppl and more bathrooms.

You get breakfast, lunch and dinner for free during Hajj time. Look at Mena, look at the two Holy Mosques, the government has done great works there.

BTW those drivers are not Saudis and also the salesmen. Most of them are from other countries; Allah has given permission for pilgrimages and non pilgrimage to buy and sell during the time of Hajj. Qur'an Hajj 22-verse 28. So a lot of non-Saudis sell things during time of Hajj; I swear by Allah that I'm saying the truth.

You came in a time when millions and millions of Muslims came from all around the world' so it's not a suitable time to build your judgments. hye baba ali, my dad went to hajj last year.. he also had this experience when he needs to queue in front of the toilet for a long time!! and my dad shared a room with other 16 people.!! and the size of tht room is smaller than my room..!! and my dad is sleeping in the middle..!! hearing all the farts, snores..!! but he said it was a challenging journey it was.. huhu!

Makkah and Medina are the cities where Islam was founded... non-muslims are not permitted for several reasons; one of which is to prevent the Islamic cities to fall victim to modern westernization as others did like Pakistan, etc. Besides, these are the only 2 cities of Saudi Arabia where non-Muslims are not permitted... and should be kept that way since the Islamic culture is most strongly practiced in these cities globally... there are logical reasonings for this prohibition...

Is Islam what demands non-Muslims be kept out of such places, or does it come from something else? I do not know, so I can not assume it is one or the other. Ali, they were probably malaria pills. They come in a pill form. I was suppose to take them when I went to Egypt but, at the last minute the nurse here said that they probably weren't necessary due to the time of year I was traveling. hye baba ali, my dad went to hajj last year.. he also had this experience when he needs to queue in front of the toilet for a long time!! and my dad shared a room with other 16 people.!! and the size of tht room is smaller than my room..!! and my dad is sleeping in the middle..!! hearing all the farts, snores..!! but he said it was a challenging journey it was.. huhu!

Makkah and Medina are the cities where Islam was founded... non-muslims are not permitted for several reasons; one of which is to prevent the Islamic cities to fall victim to modern westernization as others did like Pakistan, etc. Besides, these are the only 2 cities of Saudi Arabia where non-Muslims are not permitted... and should be kept that way since the Islamic culture is most strongly practiced in these cities globally... there are logical reasonings for this prohibition...

Is Islam what demands non-Muslims be kept out of such places, or does it come from something else? I do not know, so I can not assume it is one or the other. Furthermore, I would not accept the examples regarding Buddhism or Christians if they did such a thing (you can if you want, I will not). Finally, I'm not a Buddhist or a Christian but have been inside their temples many times, they don't deny entry, it is only Islam which demands such things, which makes such a comparison mute.

Ali, they were probably malaria pills. They come in a pill form. I was suppose to take them when I went to Egypt but, at the last minute the nurse here said that they probably weren't necessary due to the time of year I was traveling. I don't know how effective those would have been though because, if I recall you have to take more then one. Salam alikom,
