  • I've pressed many a record at Archer. Mike and his dad are the coolest.

  • thats where save my words 4 wax and city of boom come from good to c poppa archer still tikin.

  • I worked at Archer from '02-'05...

miss Joe,Mike and the guys alot...

it was a blessing that they took me in when I needed a gig newly in detroit from the west coast...

hard work sometimes but a true dream job for a long time collector/DJ like myself....

    cheers Archer...!!!

  • Love vinyl, its great to see how this will made

  • Sick. It's all about vinyl!!

  • DON'T STOP ! ! !

I just started getting my decks and vinyl collection ! ! !

I want to start producing Drum and Bass, Jungle, Breakbeat, Hiphop etc...

I absolutely will never give up Vinyl even though I just started.

The quality is unsurpassed, and the nostalgia is more addicting than any drug out there!

I will come visit and get some records pressed even though they might suck just to keep you guys going!

I love music, art and culture... Vinyl is all three!

  • @beatsiz hi, i am Dj Sdong from italy, i'm about to begin my 350 x 12" (blue vinyl) :) house music/electronic and i think to start my own label. cheers my record are pressed from MOBINEKO - UK

  • @beatsiz It's a conspiracy. It's so easy to make vinyl sound bad, dust etc. The lack of bass response is a big issue too. Too much bass in a recording puts extreme strain on the stylus, so they don't do it.

  • @MorkaGraven Vinyl will never die... Just look around. Two years later and I'm still fully backing Vinyl. I just witnessed Taylor Hawkins move from MIDI Controllers in Ableton to a Serato + Vinyl setup. There is plenty of Bass music on Vinyl, let the professionals handle the mastering and you'll be all set. I've been to plenty of Vinyl only shows where there was enough bass to make my mother or grandparents faint Hahaha

  • @beatsiz I still buy it. Underground Metal bands on vinyl have a cult following, limited releases etc, makes it more desirable.

2 of my presses are limited to 1000 copies each, considering the many more thousands of fans each band has. I don't use them though, just display them on the wall like a dork.

  • Archer Records is the best pressing plant hands down. Mike is a hell of a guy and DLR would not do business anywhere else. Long live the art of vinyl!!!

  • So glad that Sha-La passed this on to me...it was really interesting. Good to see Papa Archer and Mike doing well! Jacqui W.

  • Archer rules! Pressed about 15 records through them! Mike's the best!
