Mark Lindsey pawing a very young and soon to be discovered Goldie Hawn before her debut on an ill fated show called Good Morning America in 1967; this was about a year and a half before Laugh-In. I was there.
How hot those guys are in the white tights and boots! Sorry but I see all the comments about the go go dancers and I'm just speaking up for the gays that watch this.
@SixtiesPopGold It's not Goldie. But the funny thing is that she's one of the dancers (at the very left - at 22 seconds into the video) when The Raiders do "Ooh Poo Pagh Do" on Hullbaloo A Go Go.
@norseleague It got a lot sexier than Goldie Hawn back then... Claudia Cardinale, Diana Rigg, Raquel Welch, Ursula Andress, Stella Stevens, Elke Sommer... just to name a mere few. Goldie was fine, but where sex appeal is concerned, she didn't quite stack up to these beauties.
@norseleague Are you sure that's Goldie Hawn? I don't think it is. There is a slight resemblance, but when you see a close-up, it doesn't look like her at all. She has a similar shape and hair, but the face is different.
@norseleague The dancers like the band performed to a single broadcast in the studio. The dancers are trying to keep in time. This was common in those days. A good job none the less.
Great song, I drove my parents crazy learning to play the drums, this was one of the ones I used to like to play a lot. They were a good band, Mark had one of the best voices of that time, I thought.
Man, if you want to know what the Rolling Stones meets the Beach Boys would sound like, check out this fantastic song. Paul Revere & the Raiders really knew how to write a hit back in the 60's. It was like one right after another. These guys were great!!!
@geehowdy1 Indeed.. As a little kid I too would look forward to "Where the Action Is".
A bunch of us kids and some adults would gather in front of the TV and wait to see Paul Revere and the Raiders perform their latest hit. Just like Rick Nelson did at the end "Ozzie and Harriet" The Raiders and the Beatles were the only group that us kids would give up play time for.
Great tune from a great band!.....I swear that go-go dancer looks like Goldie Hawn pre Laugh In days!........The question still stands?....Why aren't these guys in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame? along with Deep Purple, Kiss, Steveie Ray Vaughn?
This is great. Looks like the color version of the show for the "Kicks" video. Same episode of the same show? The dancers are the same. Can you get your hands on the color version of the Kicks performance and post it? That would be awesome.
I remember Goldie as much thinner? Hey how about Murry the K..anybody

@norseleague Actually, I'm not completely certain it is Goldie hawn in the video. The dancer resembles her, but I wouldn't put money on it.
