its not really wheter it has it or not, but the amount of it.
The one in the right has almost none, had for a couple of years and didnt ever know about this problem. The one in the left on the other hand , is rather bothersome
In due time, perhaps, but samsungs are the fucking worst offenders. I replaced my 2333hd 3 times and they all had enormous backlight bleeding. It's extremely distracting for some people like myself. Now I own a monitor that is uniform everywhere, no bleeding. Disappointing black levels at first, but I got used to it as on the other hand I wasn't able to get used to the bleeding.
only if this bothers you. i contacted like 15 different users in a of this monitor in a forum and ALL of them have this at some degree. But apart from that, they are mostly happy with it , and i cant see otherwise, its a great monitor fin every other aspect.
Only if this really bothers you should try, if it doesnt then you got a great monitor with only that drawback.

Nothing unusual there. I've yet to see a lcd without backlight bleeding.

yep samsungs are awful, their customer service (uk)is really bad also.
my philips has zero backlight bleed!

I have a Samsung T240 and I have backlight bleed but just along the top part of my screen.

Led and LCD Displays are different the pixels are also the lights but LCD are have pixels then a backlight .

oh.. and i buyed it from a reseller and i asked for refund., but i think maybe this depends on reseller .. so maybe youll get a different situation
