Loophole: President Kennedy wanted to end it; His wife was running around, J.F.K., jr. wasn't his son and he had accomplished what old man Kennedy had wanted him to do. He was sick and tired of the whole thing, and he knew exactly where to go.
@Soulblackman : Caroline was born earlier, apparently before Jacqueline began her affair with Onassis. A good movie close to this subject is "Susan Slade", starring Lloyd Nolan, about how some wealthy people cover their social positions through manipulation. I wonder if J.F.K., Jr. committed suicide because he learned the truth of his parentage? Some people don't accept those things well.
@Soulblackman : As I said, some people can't handle learning things like that about their personal origins. The family hides it and tries to ignore it, and the son or daughter learns about it by accident. I can see how someone would be shattered by something like that.
@buzzclick500 But not to THAT level. Besides, he probably knew about this, years ago. What probably happened, his big mouth, controlling, harpy wife and her equally, abrasive sister, where on their USUAL back-seat flying, and he lost control and crashed.
A President's sexual activities were not reported back then. It was considered personal and off limits. If a reporter would have tried to bring it up, he would have destroyed his career and would never get work as a reporter again. The evil bastards had to resort to killing JFK, because they couldn't discredit him. LBJ on the other hand, would have been arrested in the Bobby Baker scandal. After JFK was killed, LBJ got his old friend J. Edgar Hoover to save him from going to prison.
@1916jutland : We actually need...a single president who doesn't have highly-developed social skills so he can focus on the job he's assigned to. I'm NOT volunteering, just putting an idea forth.
Why did Jesse Curry gather together his men in Dallas on the morning of the 22nd November 1963 as the motorcade was leaving Love Field and ON ITS WAY to take no part whatsoever in the security for President Kennedy? WHOSE ORDERS WAS HE ACTING ON?
November 22, 1963, the end of America as a free nation. My dad former OSS said, that day Johnson did it. I was shocked at that time but came to the realization that NWO could not let him live. We need to repeal all laws back to this time and start over. New Congress and arrest the bankers and the politicians. We need to conficate all there assest under the Rico Laws. We need to follow the Constitution and the Bill of Rights like Washington, Lincoln and Kennedy.
@RICHCO77 : Well, that's two of us who believe similarly. "The president and all civil officers of the government will be removed from office upon impeachment for, and conviction of Treason, Bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors." It's very clear, and it's the supreme law of the United States of America. Could be done well before 4th of July. Obama accepted the Nobel Peace prize, which is against the law.
follow the sandwich coins that came out next year(1964). The end result of the fractional reserve banking industrys takover of the federal government.follow the vietnam and iraq war debt.that paper monopoly money is the bloody cum rag of the the great harlot of the book of revelation.Shes drunk with blood.
Why do you say the sex scandals were about to break? Even now, only one woman Cambell Exner has claimed to have an affair with JFK. Exner embellish her story with more details every few years before her death.
Take a look at "Photoplay" magazine,August 63 issue:article - "One year later: Marilyn Monroe's killer still at large"....Read Walter Winchell's "Man about Town" column, New York Mirror (Jul 8 '63)re-Keeler and washington fall-out...There is a lot more. Look what the profumo scandal did to the macmillion govt in 1962-3.
Also see declassified "Memorandum - United States Government" M.A.Jones to Mr Deloach ,FBI File : July 9th 1963 ; Sunject : "Photoplay" article concerning Marilyn Monroe's death. This - and previous mentions - are in the public domain, and a bit lengthy to quote. The point of these stories was not that Monroe was murdered but "killed" as a result of this affair with the unnamed man.
Photoplay magazine opening lines : "You can see him in a crowd. You can reach out and touch him;because he is a great man, famous, known all over the world.....you can see him on television - and you will look up to him and think how lucky his wife is to be married to him and how lucky his children are to have him as a father.....etc" (P52 photoplay).More interesting is the FBI interest in the article.....
....you have to bear in mind the reporting standards of the day had more in common with today's France than the National Enquirer-Larry Flynt USA. Kennedy was pushing acceptable behaviur to its limits: He was Clinton +++ and this was during the Cold War, and not after "fall" of communism in eastern europe....
That's right, reporting standards were different, Pope had not recived his mafia loan to finance The National Enquirer, and there were no sexual harassment laws to start litigation against married men. Maybe it was better that way. Don't think Kennedy had much to worry about. He sure didn't act like he feared anyone. Might be alive, had he been more paranoid.
Take a look at "The Dark side of Camelot " by Seymour Hersch ( one of the greatest investigative journalist in US - see Wikipedia etc; the real deal): Chapt22 on Ellen Rometsch shows the Profumo link , and a lot more (Suzy Chang)etc.
Kennedy was a rich kid and knew life was short. He had a very specific attitude to sex, all supported by his father,Joe Kennedy.
Professor Wrone, wrote a review of Hersch book when it came out a few years ago. Wrone was not too impressed with Hersch. Wrone claimed Hersch relied on dubious characters to create a coherent, but false narrative, of Kennedy's administration. I think its on the web somewhere, I will find it if you want to read it.
I think if you look at the record of Hersch ( uncovering Mai Lai massacre ; the Clinton missile attacks et al ) you will understand the difference between Hersch and Professor Wrone.Original documents matter. Anyone who is "not impressed" with Hersch is really Professor Wrong!!. Don't want to fight!
Yes, Hersch has or had a great reputation, but he apparently felt his bank account was not consumate with his reputation. Hersch decided to change that with the publication of the Darkide of Camelot, asking and getting a million dollar advance. Wrone's piece focused on documented factual errors and how Hersch misquoted the documents, but since you don't want to read it, you can believe on faith whatever you want to. There is another more accurate side to the story.
@TrueNovice but does it really matter? if tomas edison had sex with hundreds of men women and children does that make his inventions not as great? JFK had affairs but i bet over half of washington does 2, then and now. in the grand scheme of things would it matter if bush had affairs to the ppl in iraq or afghan? did lewinsky hurt the economy or start a war? no. who cares its their private lives and presidents have more stress then we will ever realize
@pat442389 The only way it matters is it would allow an avenue to blackmail or control JFK, but the evidence indicates that no one was able to blackmail JFK. And JFK was able to portray himself as like able family man. That was one reason Kennedy was so popular during his Presidency and there was such an outpouring of grief.
Alternately, in the Posthumous assassination of JFK, James DiEugenio that many of these claims are probably not true and were created by the intelligence agencies to destroy JFK reputation so you would not care who killed him. I tend to think JFK was great president no matter what is said about his personal life.
@TrueNovice : He was the best so far, and to a certain extent, I blame his ambitious dad, who suffered from a measure of pride. America is a very young nation, and we haven't yet fully realized that here, our goventment is a SERVICE STAFF. It's not power or prestige, it's A JOB. Our government doesn't need brains, they need to OBEY the wishes of the AMERICAN people specifically. Plus, I believe President Kennedy had no affairs; he was busy trying to make us debt-free as a nation.
TrueNovice: Wishful dreaming on her part; President Kennedy wouldn't have touched the likes of her with a ten-foot pole. He had class, she was a Mafia moll.
The scandal that was about to break was not about sex, it was about LBJ who was about to be indicted in Texas on all kinds of corruption charges. Kennedy was going to drop him from the ticket because he had become too much of a liability. If only it were so simple as a sex scandal. There were far more ominous forces at work here. Check out the photo on Air Force One of LBJ just after the oath looks over at Congressman Albert Thomas and they share a WINK! At such a tragic moment.

Not familiar with the publications. Doubt it mentioned anything of JFK's affairs. Maybe you could quote a relevant passage? Marilyn Monroe murdered?
