  • GLOBALISM DOESN'T FUCKING WORK!

When are Americans gonna wake the hell up?

  • zeitgeist my friend. zeitgeist. I'm totally with you brother!

  • MSNBC is owned by GE who did get bailout money. SO why did Keith accept a huge raise?

  • Because Olbermann is a puny, stinking two faced back stabbing butt licking douchebad leftwing liberal...oh...and a fucking piece of shit liar. He's got the kind of face I like to use for a punching bag.

Olbermann...you are the ultimate asshole, next to your god Obama.

  • @DS1circle I know this is old, but you're a big fan of the banks, I take it?

  • To dencal26,

    Genius,

GE did not receive bailout money. What the company did receive was a guarantee on their commercial paper. Simply put (so you can understand) the government would repay any investor who bought GE bonds if the bonds were to default.

That is not the same as receiving money.

    Learn before speaking.

    Required for informed dialogue.

  • You never hear the from other news casters, and commentators, of the type of blunt, and rightly viewed critzism by Keith Olbermann, he is not owned, he works for a multi national company, but it is obvious that it is not keeping him from being bais that is extremely self evident, and for people honestly to say the opposite from the obvious, they are lying to themselves of how important for someone in the news to tell the truth, and it shows that alot of people can't handle the damn truth.

  • @Emyousmusa What?? Olberman works for GE! The most liberal, democrat sucking company in the universe! He has the sense of an billy goat and would love to be a stand-up comic. I think he thinks he is the Henny Youngman of cable political news! He's a jerk in every sense of the word!!

  • @coleyman1 your statement does not adress why you believe his ideology to be incorrect or biased. no substance and no points

  • @runelord37 Look, if you understand the progressive movement that he and MSNBC support, with dripping, slobbering admiration, I might add, then you know what he believes in and supports! Did you just awaken from a 10 year nap or what? If he doesn't believe in the democratic liberals he swoons over every night, then he is just after the MONEY! I really could care less, because his ratings are not half, repeat-- NOT HALF of the "other" folks that do the same slobbering over the conservatives!!

  • @coleyman1 i dont support anything with "dripping, slobbering admiration". you can think hes a tool and thats fine. i might agree with you on some point perhaps. i dont need to defend this guy. i merely asked you to state why you think he incorrect. too hard for you? yep pretty sure it is

  • @runelord37 I guess you didn't read all of what I wrote. I told you why I thought he was incorrect! He just supports what his liberal employer wants him to. He has no position other than those of MSNBC/General Electric! You will never hear him in opposition of the administration no matter what! What he really believes and cares about, if it's not what he preaches on his show, will never be known because he is a political whore to whomever is paying the most at the time. He's Beck except dumber!

  • These executives of banks, insurance & mortgage & brokerage companies just don't get it! They're slutwhores who steal from innocent, hard-working families! They are loathsome & they suck! What goes around comes around & someday soon these executive shitters will regret ever even putting on a suit & tie! Everyone's nauseated by this devilry these execs have performed! They need to be rounded up like animals & brought to justice & pay for their crimes of theft & economic terrorism! Disgusting!

  • The New York AG issued a report yesterday detailing how Citigroup paid 5.33 billion in bonuses for 2008. 738 of their execs (slutters) received over 1-million each. We're all sick to death of this unholy greed. These incompetent executives are beyond shame! The life savings & incomes of millions of innocent, hard-working families has been destroyed by Citigroup execs incomprehensible lust for money! Please post the names, ss numbers, addresses, etc. of these whores so we can pay them a visit!

  • These banks are the biggest welfare spongers in the world. There is socialism in America, socialism for the rich. There has been no sacrifice from them, but there will be a heavy and painful price to be paid by ordinary Americans, while.

The profits are privatised, while the losses are socialised.

BTW Where is that $4 trillion of taxpayers money that the crooks at the Pentagon lost? Why are Limbaugh and Beck silent about the incompetent Pentagon wasting gigantic sums of taxpayer money?

  • Comment removed

  • Name even ONE thing that he said in this so called 'rant' that isn't true. I'm not talking about what your Gods of philosophy (Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, et al.) would have you believe to be true, I mean reality truth.

Olbermann just completely owned those corporate fat cats who lie, cheat, swindle and steal the taxpayer's money, each and every day.

The only nancy boy here is you, bigbuddy, and the only koolaid is your own spewed version.

  • His premise... why is he focusing on bank executives and not even mentioning how much Congress knew about the bailout bonuses?

His tangent about his opponents in the media... he shows Limbaugh and infers he represents a monopoly of radio WHILE HE'S VOICING AN OPPOSING VIEW

His language... bust what trusts? There's been a dozen banks and financial institutions bailed out.

There's three. I'd go on, but I grow tired of this bafoon.

  • Are you suggesting he lied? Explain.

  • Why does Citigroup need 427 separate subs in tax havens, including 12 in the Channel Islands, 21 in Jersey, 91 in Luxembourg, 19 in Bermuda and 90 in the Caymans? What exactly is going on at Morgan Stanley's 19 subs in Jersey, 29 subs in Luxembourg, 14 subs in the Marshall Islands, and its amazing 158 subs in the Caymans?

Don't expect to find out from Fox News Channel or the New York Post, because News Corp. has its own constellation of strange subs, including 33 in the Caymans alone.

  • What reason other than tax evasion could there be for Goldman Sachs Group to set up three subsidiaries in Bermuda, 5 in Mauritius & 15 in Cayman Islands? Why did Countrywide Financial need 2 subsidiaries in Guernsey? Why did Wachovia need 18 subs in Bermuda, 3 in the British Virgin Islands, and 16 in the Caymans? Why did Lehman Brothers need 31 subs in the Caymans? What do Bank of America's 59 subs in the Caymans actually do? And speaking of AIG, why does it have 18 subs in tax-haven countries?

  • welcome to gloabalism

USA has been preaching free global markets for ages

now there are countries who have lower tax rates than USA and are more competitive

may be usa should think about lowering taxes than blaming tax havens or companies who invest there

  • The plan put forth by Geitner to have "private investors" bid on the toxic assets the banks hold is a scam. There is NOTHING to prevent a bank, the very bank holding the toxic asset from bidding on it through a third party.

EX: BOA has a toxic asset they paid $100 for but is now worth $30, using a 3rd party BOA bids $100 for the asset. BOA only has to put up $10, the Treasury $10, and the Fed $80 the entire $100 goes to BOA and the toxic asset is removed, it then tanks & all BOA is out is $10.

  • i love this man.

  • America needs laws that protect its people both against crooked Capitalists and Socialists. But to say that wanting regulate Big Business is Socialism that plain wrong! Just look at the early and late 1990s then Big Business sold millitary secrets to China. Thats bad isn't it?

  • This is the land of the free, right? What do we do with this freedom? Get rich, right? America has to transform its values. How bad things have to get before we do it is the question. Socialism promotes equality. We don't need a lot. We just need as much for the poor as the rich get. The right wing has corrupted us. We need to get back to the middle ground. They're going to call it socialism or class warfare or whatever term they can scare us with.

  • I agree, cat00012000. I honestly don't understand why the word 'socialism' scares America so much. I also can't understand why it's perceived as a derogatory remark.

I mean, they can't exactly point to their current system as a shining example of how a country should be run, can they?

Then again, I'm constantly being told America is number one. Propaganda is such a useful tool for the optimisist, isn't it?

  • hey NHC62 Bush GAVE AIG NO STRINGS money before Obama ever got in ofc....

  • Bust the trusts.

  • Hey President Obama ,AIG Punked you ! and the Whole world is laughing at you ! Were is The CHANGE in America you Promised ? It is not better it is getting worse ! No Health Care and illegal Wars ! You Failed President Obama ,you let the Hollywood medias PUNK YOU !

  • Wow, so quick to judge Obama after only THREE MONTHS IN OFFICE...

    What Irrationality!

  • you mean 2 months.

When a person judges that quickly and cant even wait for results to arrive from his actual policies, you know they are just trolling. They dont want america to succeed, they just want to complain because thats what they enjoy, or maybe cant help but do.

What ever happened to the 100 days that past presidents used to get at the least.

Jan 20-march23 is a bit soon even in this mess that he was left with.

  • AIG got their bailout money under the Bush admin, so why was Obama punked?

  • nohealthcare62:

    Hey, Laura.

Shut the fuck up, you dumb bitch!
