HMRC Self Assessment Offline in 2008

i don't work in any department, i'm self employed, and have never had any problems!

Not that it matters, but I've already written to HMRC and had no reply.

I've also written to them to outline a series of security issues on the site; which also fell of deaf ears. They soon patched *some* of the issues after I gave the info to the BBC though.

I disagree on the "pointless and annoying remarks" comment too! These "remarks" clearly show that vital links such as "file online", "terms and conditions", "contact us" and the "helpdesk" don't work. Which department do you work in?

It's actually just video evidence that an attempt was made to file online; but thanks for your ignorant comment anyway.

i wouldn't say my comment was 'ignorant'. i'd say it was quite accurate, because it isn't 'just video evidence', it's almost a 4 minute long presentation with pointless and annoying little remarks, which probably took at least an hour or two to produce.  maybe you should have spent the time writing a letter to HMRC detailing your issues.
