The only thing Jacky has over Sam is his voice is stronger but when it comes to talent Jacky is not even close to Sam. Sam wrote most of the songs he sang. If he did not wrote the song it was probably his brother that did. Sam is educated Sam is DEFINITELY better looking.

All I acknowledged is that Sam is a all-rounded artiste. Can sing, play instrument, compose, arrange song and act. The only thing I see while other singers sucked up to China by singing mandarin songs.Some are half baked. Sam remains true to his self and do what he is good at, that is to continue singing cantonese and english songs.

Sam Hui is definitely King of Canto Pop - none like Jackie, Leon Lai or Leslie Cheung can match him. Alan Tam maybe close since he's a musician in Wynners. It takes courage to continue in Canto pop after '97 - I could be wrong. Peter PKY

I have to add that my remarks above are comparatively speaking. This is not to offend all the fans of Jackie Cheung, Leon Lai, Alan Tam and esp. Leslie Cheung, (whom I admire greatly and sing his songs too.)
