I heard about the Yellow color going away too. and the indian red. Instead, it will be replaced with the red you spoke of and that gray color. I think that Yellow should stay, and that all sliver shoould be the one dumped. When i got my Smart, i saw a few Yellow cars there,particualrly the bumblebee cars.
I'm glad I got my specialty color orphan but if I had gotten a color I didn't want (silver) I would have wrapped it. Course you can always have the panels painted any color you want and since it's such a small car it wouldn't cost that much.
Just got this info off another site.... "the Beverly Hills Smart dealer and was told the 2009's will be in November, 2008. He also told me that the red (orangey red) and the yellow smarts will "go away" and that they replacement colors will be candy apple red and a sandy color. He also said the new Smarts will have storage compartments in the back. Not much else as far as changes, also said the price should remain the same."
Love the car...did you get to that puppet fest? If so, where was it held? I know someone who is going to a puppetry fest in Shipshewana, Indiana. Wondered if that was the same one.
BTW, I have an idea...you kept trying to figure out what to post about sex on your video series when I suggested it. How about starting with a segment on how to talk to your kids about sex, or what they should know? That would be educational, and wouldn't require you sharing personal stuff.

I just heard that the 2009 smart models will have no changes including color. However, I heard that yellow was not popular and wouldn't be long for this car.

Actually it's 0 to 60 in about 13 seconds or something.

0-60 is about 11.7 seconds in manual mode.
0-60 is about 12.2 seconds in auto mode.
I still don't have mine! Hopefully I'll get it soon.

I don't know. The dealer indicated that it was one of a kind, at least to their dealership, and they didn't expect to get any more like.
