  • TKS TO REDPRRIEST FOR SHARING.

  • superb!! I played this kind of copy only once 10 years ago, but never made a recording with it. I only recorded with modern basset clarinet (buffet crampon). Still I feel that this performance is a masterpiece. thank you so much for sharing. I would love to get in touch with the clarinet soloist... . This is how I feel it should be played... BRAVO!!!!

  • is that an ancient clarinet or basset horn?? neat...

  • @frannyshow123 it's a bassett clarinet; a copy made by Agnes Guerolt on Paris.

  • @cymro89 Thx~

  • @frannyshow123 That is a basset clarinet, pitched in A, but with an extension that allows more notes. The Basset horn is another clarinet, used in the Requiem, as well as in other pieces, and is "L" shapped, usually pitched in F.

  • complimenti molto bravo.

  • lo strumento sarebbe il clarinettodi bassetto originale del 1770 c ??? Molto belle davvero..!!!

  • bellissimo con gli strumenti antichi

  • Superb performance; the very best interpretation of this divine music I've ever heard. Complimenti to the soloist and orchester,.. and sincere thanks to 'redprriest' for sharing.
