It has nothing to do with backplates. The D5400xs chipset won't support more than two cards in sli or corssfire. If you really had that setup it was only using 2 cards.

Correct as 295 has 2 GPU's and all motherboards can only handle 4 GPU's, but if you had tri-SLI it makes 6 so the last one does nothing.

Yeah I've never seen that either. Because they don't exist. 4GB DDR2 Single sticks do though, but I think you could do 8GB on an i7 board...just have 4 2GB sticks.

This video was taken over a YEAR ago. Think of the technology jump since then. Yea the lower resolution is disappointing NOW but back then? I think that was pretty respectable considering what he had to work with. For a rig built now (or even in a month or two) I would expect much better.

1. Crysis is a poorly coded game, its only made to use all ur system has got, even if you have a freakin server box as your desktop computer you wont get better frame rates.

2. crysis = graphics cards, not cpu.

I second that. The game is so demanding because I can pretty much bet $100 that the size of a texture on a single blade of grass is ATLEAST 2048x2048. Thats why the game is so freakin demanding because your video card has to render all that data. Who needs a blade of grass to be so detailed that its texture is bigger than that of your whole monitor? Its stupid. When I play a game I play it to kill someone not marvel at how nice their combat boots look glimmering in the sun while im getting shot.

thats not how it works. Games arent optimized for more than 4 threads. Lots of games have reductions in performance on this board. Its just a modified workstation board. He has high frame rates becuase opf the other harware

@nujabe Your enlightened, the software isn't keeping pace with the hardware. I finished playing campaign Crysis(single player) in less than a week only playing 2 hrs a day. The fact is pc games will always be second tier in priority to console games; they aren't well polished and have short story lines.

the funny thing is that there's no motherboard which has 2xLGA775 sockets. so this one must be a typo or some fake sht because skulltrail has 2x QX9775 cpus and those only fit into LGA771 sockets.(which can be /mostly/ found on server boards) please correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm not sure what your trying to say because you contradicted yourself. You are correct that the skulltrail motherboard is not in socket 775, its 771, but so is the QX9775 CPU so that would work perfectly. It also never says what CPU's he is running in the video, he just put it as a tag to get more hits. he did the same thing by adding maxishine as a tag, and this is clearly not maxishine.

This is stupid! 2 extreme CPUs, and the minimum FPS is lower than with one extreme CPU, half the memory and one GTX280.

This game has one of the worst coded engines ever, and the hardware optimization on it is even worse.

And with all that stuff they put in their system, they're still afraid to put some AA and AF on.

The engine sucks so much no game developer even wants it.

Want real benchmarks, go UT3 Extreme Physics - even the "mighty" 9800GX2 has trouble with it.

could put sound card like Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatality sound card bc it has memory onboard it and that increase 10 - 15% the performance in games and crysis test program. so your cpu dont have that load on the processor for the sound that if you still using onboard sound.

The Beast Master is way overkill for Crysis. Crysis is optimized for Duo core (2 CPU's). Beast Master is Octocore (8 CPU's). when i run the benchmark, 6 cores sit there chuckling! In the next few months we may see this changing.
