  • i went to marrakech last year. i drank the orange juice they sell on that square. they added water to it. it was not pretty.

  • @0casteloencantado0 If you don´t like it don´t pay.

  • @izan073 it was delicious. but they put tap water in it. i shouldn't have drunk the water. not pretty.

  • I like your video Alia it's very beautiful really and you will be very welcome anytime ..your home :)

may be you can write me to know more about Marrakech Jewel of the South Morocco :) simomedo47@yahoo.com

  • I love fresh squeezed OJ. Thanks for the wonderful video. Have you ever tried Honey Murcott Tangerines? They are a cross between a tangerine and a sweet orange. The juice is sublime. Give them a try if you can get them. They usually are available in the winter in the northern hemisphere.

  • 1.15$ ....!!?? It's only 0.40€...!!!

  • @Rubx23 he owned her

  • lol i love your voice

  • More like most watered down in the juice in the world. I know what those vnedors are up to.

  • euuh morocco it s verry beautifeul contry ever

  • @mouhcine88 It's like this:

  • hi from agadir twahacht lham ras o tanjiyaaaaaa

  • lawwwllsss @ 1:54

  • @cookingwithalia **Great Video, thx. But I would really like to know what type of press/juicer he uses. The reason I ask, is that there are so many press/juicers on the market that either don't get all the juice out or the handles break within weeks of using.

  • love OJ.

  • Hi halia,

You are fully right!!! I had the opportunity to taste this delicious at the Jamaa-el-fna square and i have to confess that even though in my country (Brazil) there are good orange i still rather the marrakech one!!! It is simply spectacular!! During my stay in Morocco i think i had like one litter per day of that juice!!!

  • thank you Alia for promoting our culture and tourism

  • Your "american" accent is a mix of french and moroccan...its usually the accent of moroccan women...dont know why...sounds cool though...like a fingerprint of a moroccan identity :-)...nice vid.

  • love your videos My husband and I just came back from Morocco last week what a beautiful country and I would have to agree with you the best orange juice in the world! And this year every stall was offering it for only 4 dirham!

  • @koelschwolf

Oh, that is such a sweet message... my ultimate goal with these videos and recipes is to bring to life a piece of memory... I am so glad you enjoyed the video. it makes me truly happy.

  • I hope Mustafa will be there two years from now, hopefully when we go visit.

Alia, thank you for capturing the spirit of Morocco through your videos.

    Its quite a place.

People radiate certain sweet friendly energy.

  • @ImGoingOnABerryHunt

I am so glad you enjoyed it!

  • really good orange juice, but bring your own straw... :)

  • The orange juice there is truly epic win. The best I have ever had as well. but.. 10DH for a glass? prices must have gone up.

  • just double checked my diary... I was paying 3DH a glass. does it really change that much? this was last year.

  • oh my god, I got twice a year to Morocco and it changes that much! everything! if you go to Rabat now, and see the Marina in between Sale and Rabat, you would not believe it! Also, it may depend where you bought the orange juice, I was in Marrakech, in the popular place, so it's probably more expensive than inside the medina or in the outskirts of the 'centre ville'.

  • Thanks for your Marrakech videos! My husband is from Marrakech and we now live in the USA but these videos bring back many memories from when I visited there. Thanks again! I am also loving the recipes you share. i am still learning to cook Moroccan food!

  • jajajajaja que video tan bonito y gracioso....las mejores naranjas son de marrakesh

  • I was to Morocco last April. This orange juice on Jamaa el Fna is truly the best in the world.

  • What about the tangerines Alia! I saw them couple weeks ago in the supermarket, I almost danced from joy in public LOL. And boy, were they SWEET!

I'm glad non-Moroccans say so too, b/c they're just the BEST!

  • I have to say the orange juice in marrakech truly is the best in the world its like amazing! even better than the one i tried in Spain!

  • This is so cool, now we can learn Darija, the Moroccan dialect from your videos too!

  • LOL! many videos are still coming with darija and subtitles, you'll be an expert by then :-)
