I love fresh squeezed OJ. Thanks for the wonderful video. Have you ever tried Honey Murcott Tangerines? They are a cross between a tangerine and a sweet orange. The juice is sublime. Give them a try if you can get them. They usually are available in the winter in the northern hemisphere.
@cookingwithalia **Great Video, thx. But I would really like to know what type of press/juicer he uses. The reason I ask, is that there are so many press/juicers on the market that either don't get all the juice out or the handles break within weeks of using.
You are fully right!!! I had the opportunity to taste this delicious at the Jamaa-el-fna square and i have to confess that even though in my country (Brazil) there are good orange i still rather the marrakech one!!! It is simply spectacular!! During my stay in Morocco i think i had like one litter per day of that juice!!!
Your "american" accent is a mix of french and moroccan...its usually the accent of moroccan women...dont know why...sounds cool though...like a fingerprint of a moroccan identity :-)...nice vid.
love your videos My husband and I just came back from Morocco last week what a beautiful country and I would have to agree with you the best orange juice in the world! And this year every stall was offering it for only 4 dirham!
Oh, that is such a sweet message... my ultimate goal with these videos and recipes is to bring to life a piece of memory... I am so glad you enjoyed the video. it makes me truly happy.
oh my god, I got twice a year to Morocco and it changes that much! everything! if you go to Rabat now, and see the Marina in between Sale and Rabat, you would not believe it! Also, it may depend where you bought the orange juice, I was in Marrakech, in the popular place, so it's probably more expensive than inside the medina or in the outskirts of the 'centre ville'.
Thanks for your Marrakech videos! My husband is from Marrakech and we now live in the USA but these videos bring back many memories from when I visited there. Thanks again! I am also loving the recipes you share. i am still learning to cook Moroccan food!
You are so awesome alia, I think we were both in Morocco at the same time, I just went for new years and stayed 2 weeks--I really enjoyed it so much but didn't get to try this Orange juice!
ALia, I totally agree with you! I simply adore Marrakech!! The food, atmosphere, especially at night :) I had the best henna done there! Limon is great!
that cart is just beautiful! very neat and the mirrors on the front are such a lovely effect! what is the rug or tile above his head inside the cart? does it display the prices and types of juices, or is it a prayer or blessing? my daughter would love to try that, she adores orange juice! thanks for the interesting channel!
I was just in Marrakech this January but didn't try the frech orange juice. Instead I bought those juicy oranges at the market. MMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! Ooo & I know what that strange noise is hehe
i went to marrakech last year. i drank the orange juice they sell on that square. they added water to it. it was not pretty.
