Ay i love this song some how everytime i here this it reminds me we home with all me favorite farm animals, them fellows always there like they are i love this song from the movie i have so many memories with this we song i love it :D
is this song a reference to Titanic? I know it only came out the year before this movie, but it's really similar. I mean, this movie even "spoofs" The Godfather, so why not.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT U COULD SEND DIS SONG 2 ME. IM TRYING 2 FIND IT ON FROSTWIRE BUT I CANT FIND IT............SEND IT 2 MY EMAIL mrdookie07@yahoo.com
Please let me help. The tune never made it to the final soundtrack of Babe, Pig in the City. It was written and played here by Paddy Moloney, the leader of the great Irish band The Chieftains. The reason that the one person said that it was "like" Titanic was that the Irish whistle and uilleann pipes (Irish bagpipes) were prominently used in this tune as they were used in the theme from Titanic.
@BobTheWhistler Anyway you can direct me to a good copy of this song?, I've searched itunes high and low for the single with the names you've mentioned: but no luck.
@BobTheWhistler I'm pretty sure this is the tune played when the animal control ransacks the hotel. I used to have this CD way back when and I think the tune was called Babe's Lament on the track listing. I do love that whistle. One of the first tunes I learned.
ok, Im just saying... clix411 is clearly NOT ignorant when it comes to music. I've watched many of their videos... and just saying, this is a very talented individual. And how ignorant are YOU jaguar4u2 for saying someone is ignorant for posting a comment? How rude is that?
@jaguar4u2 Since when did i say anything about all songs playing the same instrument sound like titanic... im ignorant? I never said that, i just said it sounds like a piece from James Horner's Titanic score, sorry to offend you
yes!, I love you. I was very close to the point of spending £50 for the soundtrack!, completely overpriced. This song is just immensely beautiful always seeming to display: Courage, Overcoming, redemption...I could go on.
