The "Thanks for everything" line gets me choked up every time. It was my grandmothers last words to my mother. She had told me that those were her last words when I was eight years old and she chokes up whenever somebody says it to her. And ever since she told me that, I start getting choked up when I hear those words. So thanks Robert Kelso!
@carfan2k2 haa i was watching another vid a few seconds ago and reading ur argument with some dumbass who doesnt know what bitching is =] youuu crease mee.. ;) sad but awesommee moment this is
The title of this is misleading. Kelso doesn't leave Sacred Heart until the second last episode of the whole series. He steals the chairs from the coffee shop.
I like it cause they offer him his job back and says something along the lines of, "Ican finally leave the way I wanted to. Shove it up your ass! I'm outta here." Haha
I don't know why everyone gave a thumbs down to sadmadgla3's comment. Boon really does say "Yeah, he did," instead of "oh" Click any of the other 10 links with the same scene.
i was sad that he left. you always thought he was a hard ass with no emotions, but he loved that place with all his heart, and it was a sad moment to see him go. he was a wonderul person.
great moment when he came back, and it is the first day Cox is in the office, and Kelso is wearing scrubs. Cox asks about, and one of the women didin't know he wasn't a doc anymore and gives him those pills for hangovers, when all of a sudden Ted comes in and he is like "Well i've go- OH DEAR GOD!"* and falls
i did cry, i know every show has to end eventually but this is the first show i've ever watched all the way through, every week every episode, for 8 years, just couldn't help but cry
Kelso is a brilliant character - the guy plays him excellently and even in this final scene as if he is leaving the show, he does it very well. 1 of my favourite characters in the show.
The best part of the whole scene is Boon saying 'He did.' I didn't see Kelso as being softened up, more of you got to see what the hospital did to him and how he still cared despite it all.
sad moment to see ol' bobby go.. but he was after all getting a tad bit old there.. still love his all time favorite quote: "what has 2 thumbs and still doesn't give a crap? -- bob kelos, how you doing".. hahaha
can you please tell me the name of the song? i really liked it and thanks for this great video, im knew into scrubs and planning on buying the episodes on dvd too watch every episode.
Sometimes it's hard to know who's the best on this show. Every single person is brilliant, and Ken Jenkins was often the scene-stealer, just with a little smirk or remark - the man is a comic genius. I do hope we'll see more of him. The show just won't be the same without him. Bye, Dr. Kelso. And thanks for the laughs - you really are a healer.
Meh. Was kind of lame how after basically asking for help to keep the job, he turns around and gives a screw you when he gets it. Seems a Kelso thing to do, but with the way his character was watered down this season, it doesn't fit.
Kelso is not gone for good. He'll be back. he just left his post as Chief of Medicine. I Know for a fact that he will at least be in the episode "My Princess."
it's funny because he's back anyway

It was meant to be the last of Season 7, but NBC ended it wrong because of the show's move to ABC.

The next episode was actually an episode earlier on in the season, which they decided to air at the last minute. This was actually the season finale.

This actually made me tear.
Why him? Why did they have to bump him off the hospital?

He will be back, but he's not working there anymore.
It's just a way of them getting Ken Jenkins cut off the scrubs cast because he was growing too old.
