i kind of hope its true.because why wish that he should throw away his life being famous when all he wants is to be free. he made this wish to leave the life of a known person in a interviu in swedish magazine some months back

O well, I can understand. He seems very sensitive. In the many interviews I've seen him, he's caryfully analyzing everything that's important to him. His choice is probably based on some good thoughts. I guess his music is all that's left then. How bittersweet.

I heard that too, but he already quit music.  For 2 weeks. He worked at a bingo hall (hence Friday Night at the Drive-In Bingo) and he decided he couldn't be without music, so he came back and recorded Night Falls Over Kortedala. At least that's what he said in concert about a month back.
