It only just hit me today the fact that he's dead, i mean gone forever,i can never meet him thank nor will he make anymore beautiful music and i haven't been able to stop crying.I think i've been in shock this whoie time since his death.

Figure 8 is so underrated... Elliott Smith's most optimistic (though there is still much that is negative) record is the worst-recieved...

i love all his albums. figure 8 is probably my least favorite, besides roman candle. it's his most abstract. not so consistant, since there's about 4 mediocre songs. it's also my current favorite to listen to since it's the only one i haven't played out

haha i don't even remember writing this, it was years ago. but what i probably meant was mediocre compared to the rest of his work. i don't know what specific songs i had in mind when i said this, but i still think this album is less consistant than, say either/or. keep in mind, i like all his stuff, even the bootlegs.
