That can't be done by ear... There is a slapping part that you completely missed and played the Guitar World Version. :P Same with the first arpeggio, the way you played it is very unconventional for the fingers and its easier to play it on the 10th fret on the B string. That is just my opinion though! Great cover though!

Your technique is nearly flawless, my only tip is that you tend to bend the strings slightly while tapping (whether this is intentional or not i do not know), but it can force your bass out of tune or make your playing slightly sharp. the tapping sounds right, but you should try using that high c string, it makes that part a lot easier IMO, dont have to change positions as much
