She isn't lost or sad any more. She found herself and growing from that. She went through a terrible trial in her life...enough said on that. She stopped singing; she just about stopped her entire life!

It took many, many years for her to come to terms with the demons in her life. But she managed and came back with a vengence. Her "spirit" is better than she used to have and I think even better now. She really is moving forward and I am quite happy for her. I love her music and her.

You see, I have a next record project. Amongst my songs, I will also sing some Alice Cooper or Beatles good ones. Probably Time after Time from Cindy Lauper too. The last track will be Hallelujah.

And I won't sing it. I will just mention that this magnificient song by a Jew from Montréal, Québec, Canada had been covered too many times and that this unique version by a lesbian from Consort, Alberta, Canada is second to none. I will rest my case and not try to better them.

How lucky I am to be fortunate enough to hear this woman sing this song... she is absolutely amazing...

I am so proud to be a fellow Canadian.. and I am so proud to welcome the world to our country during these Olympics..there is so much anger and hatred in this world... the olympic opening ceremonies here in Canada sent out an invitation.. for peace.. and friendship.. to all out there...

Yes..but I am also patriotic... I volunteer with the red cross in canada.. I work very hard to make my small space in this country a better place than when i arrived here. I was born here.. and I am proud of the country I live in. I could move elsewhere but I choose not to...

Every country has their customs and traditions... personality. I am proud of what we have accomplished in this country.... so that is why I am proud.

I have followed kd langs career since 1987 and just love her to pieces but...... I am puzzled as to why such an icon of style and grace has let her body go in the manner she has. She is sooooooooooooo overweight in this clip. Hope she sheds the pounds. Guess a vegetarian diet does not always mean a healthy one. She needs to lay off the cous-cous and falafel in a big way.

Delighted you like KD. She was amazing at the concert in Dublin. Pity my camera was a bit ropey with the sound. I have heard this song live a number of times this year, and KD does a great job. I saw Leonard (the main man) in Dublin and Berlin.

I love Miss kd. One of the true great vocalists left in the world. I do wish she would take better care of herself. Never thought I would see kd lang so fat and out of shape. Anyone else seeing it or are we just pretending it will go away. She has picked up some major pounds recently. I hope she isn't imbracing her butch dyke side. When KD sang this at her concert in Dublin, she nearly lifted the roof! What a voice, absolutely brilliant. But I have to say my king is Leonard Cohen. I have been following him for the last 30 years.
